Fantastic Little Guitar!
I can't say enough how much I love this little electric traveler's guitar!I bought and used it at a time when traveling when it was required to have the minimum amount of luggage, and it exactly suit my needs. I've taken it to the beach often (probably a bad idea because of the salt, but it shows no sign of extra wear), around with me on all-day adventures and it's survived quite a bit of rough, merciless travel and trekking. In it's case, it is very lightweight and easy to carry on your back, even underneath a backpack it feels natural and comfortable and because of its size is easy to control and doesn't whack into things. As far and quality and playability... I had no amp, so playing as if it were acoustic without being plugged in is still possible! It is quiet since there is nowhere for the sound to reverberate, but it has great sound that is beautiful, although I'm sure not as nice a huge-buck acoustic. It is nice just playing for yourself (would be too quiet without being plugged in to play for an audience larger than two or three up close to you), especially if you don't want to disturb others nearby by playing guitar. As far as durability, this thing is great! As said it's been brought around and handled somewhat roughly quite a bit, and I have all the confidence that this guitar will hold up for many, many years of use, if not my whole life, which I expect it will. The color doesn't chip away and all the materials are very solid and sure. The size is fantastic as mentioned, and it is easy to play, the neck is the same as a regular guitar in my opinion. The string knobs are at the bottom which is unusual but I love it actually. There are knobs that allow for a guitar strap, although I don't usually use one because it is very easy to hold up and grip on its own.The visual appearance of this guitar is fun and beautiful! I have a black walnut color on mine, and I couldn't ask for better to suit my preferences. On a fun note, I got a lot of comments from people asking what it was. In its case, some people asked if it was a rifle, a machete, and even a pool cue... interesting. That's just how this looks; interesting! I like being incognito, and sometimes that works because of the size, despite its strange appearanceI definitely recommend this guitar to people looking for the same thing as me and who like quality and precision, especially to people often traveling or don't have the space, this guitar is perfect. This is one of the most favorite things I have ever bought for myself, and I would buy it again if something ever happened to it. I plan on always having this and might even use it as my primary guitar. There are absolutely no flaws; I love this guitar and it was worth every penny!

Great guitar for practicing everywhere!
IntroLet's breakdown this review for the porpsuse this guitar serves. It addresses traditional guitar bulkiness when you transport your guitar.ConsDo not buy this guitar as your main/recording/gig guitar. However you can use it as so, with obvious limitations. Like tone and analog controls. Tone/volumeDo not buy this guitar if you want to learn from zero. It will feel uncomfortable, awkward, and even frustating. Since there is not the same comfort level as with a full size guitar. My useI have purchased this guitar to practice at a mine site where I work, and space is limited. I sleep in some sort of small hotel at site with the in walls so I cannot disturb my neighbors, and I cannot travel with a full size guitar. So this guitar adreesses both issues.I do connect the guitar to my apogee interface that I have used previously with iPhone/iPad and a traditional guitar. So, a minimalist setup was imperative. I use garage band, but you may use some more adavanced apps for more tones.Instrument Craftsmanship/PlayabilityThe guitar is well built and it seems that can last. Playability is also good, neck is comfortable, and action is low enough for some beginners. It comes with a lap rest and I feel is ok to use it, you can add a strap as well. You may find one solution better than the other one.The pick up is well enough to get you some good tones for practicing. I do not plan to do anything else than practicing or traveling with this instrument. I would prefer use my traditional guitars. Also the tuning pegs are somewhat hidden in the body, so get a string winder to replace strings with less hassle. To sum up. This guitar is perfect for my needs, I can practice pretty much everywhere I am, with minimal equipment. So that is a huge plus.If you have some similar needs you may want to consider this guitar!

Highly Portable If a Bit Uncomfortable
I bought this because I fly a lot for work, but wanted to practice while away. It has more than met all expectations. It's lightweight and easy to travel with (I was comfortably practicing in the airport terminal). It fit right into the overhead bin on a Southwest flight. It sounds okay while disconnected from an amp and better while connected. For travel, I bought the Vox AC30 headphone amp, and I very much like the combo to practice without bothering other people. The lap rest works well for me, but the guitar still has a bit of a balance issue. I recommend getting a strap, that helped for me. Also, the boxy side digs into my arm a bit. I'm sure it'll take some adjustment without having a proper arm rest like I'd expect from a "normal" guitar, so I don't expect it to replace my main practice guitar. The comfort is the only reason I'm dropping this to a 4 star. This guitar definitely works well for what it's meant to, and I highly recommend it to anyone that flies often and wants to practice on the go.

A great deal for a traveller
The guitar was easy to travel with. I used it mostly without an amp, but that worked well. I could hear it, but the people in the next room could not. Ittook a little extra effort to tune.
