Unique Loom Sialk Hill Collection Area Rug - Washington (5' 3" x 8' Rectangle Green/Hunter Green)

The carpet itself is very very nice. The color is as pictured and it really brightens up the room.Unfortunately it was rolled so tightly and not smoothly that there are terrible kinks the full width of the rug in several places. Not sure what to do. Hoping it will relax but not holding my breath 😐

I bought 2 of these (10' x 13' and 8' x 10') for my master bedroom and sitting area after installing hardwood flooring. I opted for the inexpensive rugs since my tiny Yorkie prefers the short trip to the carpet vs using the doggie door at night and it's the reason we changed out carpeting for the hardwood flooring in the first place. Something nice looking AND inexpensive is what I was going for since I expect to break out the steam cleaner every now and again.The rugs and 1/4" rug pads arrived within days of ordering. The 8 x 10 arrived rolled while the 10 x 13 arrived folded. The rugs are a little thin and is one reason I bought the rug pads. The other reason was I wanted rug pad with rubber under it to protect the hardwood flooring in the event my fur baby opted for carpet vs the lawn.I unfolded both the rug pad and 10 x 13 rug and placed them where I would need to move the bed back to. I have a king 4 poster Tuscan bed that has to be taken apart to be moved; it weighs a ton. It was originally moved to the sitting room area so I could paint that bedroom side and we were now ready to move the bed back. There are some wrinkles in the rug due to it being folded for shipping but I figured that would go away over time. Other than that, the rug looks so awesome with the bright red and gold on the Acacia hardwood floor. However, as beautiful as everything looks right now, the overwhelming chemical carpet smell has overshadowed everything else!I've been up since 2:15 am! I've had the sliding door open for 2 days hoping that the smell would go away quicker! Thankfully, it's now in the 60s at night here in Phoenix so it's bearable to sleep with doors and windows open this time of year. You'd think the smell would be lessened with the door open... but NOOOOOOO!!! It's 4:30 am and I'm out on the couch irritated as heck contemplating how to pull the rug out from under that heavy bed! I guess I'll be shopping locally for the rugs. I have one that we bought at Home Depot about 15 years ago and that one is still in excellent shape and better yet, it never smelled!Anything that puts out a smell like this cannot be good to breathe long term. Carpets can have high VOCs and this would be one of them.

I have had this rug about 1 mo. and with weight on it i can not get rolled wrinkles out of it. i strongly recommend you do not buy one. It has obviously been rolled up and smashed with weight on it for a long period of time.

Disappointed. This is a nice rug, but the size listed for the one I ordered is not accurate. I ordered 2 of the 3' X 10" carpet runners. The size of each is actually only 31.5" by 10'. While I can understand a difference of an inch or so because of manufacturing and allow for it, the width is 4.5" shorter than stated. That's a lot and it makes a difference. I feel as if I have been shorted for the money as I ordered 36" X 10' and that is what I paid for. I am not happy but it is too much of a hassle to return because they come rolled up and wrapped in plastic which you have to cut to get the rug out and I would have to purchase packing material to return them. What a shame but I am stuck with them, I guess. However, I will say, if the actual rug size stated is not important to you, the colors are as pictured and the design is very nice. I ordered the brown. Just expect them to be smaller than stated.

The color was pretty true to the picture. I ordered the 3x10 runner, and should have ordered the next size up, but it was pretty pricey in comparison to the 3x10. As previously rated by someone else, it was rolled so tight that when unrolled, it had ripples throughout, and the ends were very curled up. I’m hoping too that it will relax a bit. It very nice and I like the color, but the reason I gave it 3 stars is because it has a flaw on one of the sides that looks like that might be a problem with raveling some time in the future. It actually has threads showing in that area and doesn’t make me very happy at all. Im going to try to pull it to the back side and hope that helps. I’ve included a photo of the flaw and ripples. I hope this helps.

Worst purchase ever!!!! Purchased 3 of these rugs (2 rugs and a runner). All 3 are wrinkled and will not lie flat. We have tried everything. I feel we gave it a good try since I purchased these last June. Unfortunately you cant just roll it up and return it.

Does anybody know what this rug is made of? I bought another one and put away, but now I’m questioning the material. I constantly sweep the rug and there is all this long hair and grit that works it way into my dust pan. Horse hair??? Some kind of animal that has dirt/grit in it’s hair. Won’t Buy again and would love to know before I decide in the same rug I purchased in another color whether to keep/send back

Received the rug today via UPS rolled up and wrapped in plastic. The rug appeared to have been "flattened" in transit. When I unwrapped the rug and laid it on the floor I could not believe how creased and wrinkled the rug was. My first thought was to immediately ask for instructions on how to return it but decided to try a few things to take out the wrinkles. I turned the rug upside down on top of a towel and placed another towel on top. With a hot iron on full steam I pressed the rug for over 45 minutes. This seemed to take about 85 % of the wrinkles and creases out and I'm hoping that within a few days the rug will naturally lay flat. If not, the rug is going back.The rug is thin and appears to be of adequate quality. The packaging leaves much to be desired. I have contacted the manufacturer for their input and will update my review after I receive their response.

While the colours are beautiful, the quality is not as expected. Not much fiber / square inch. Also it came rolled tightly with no roller so the creases were very tough to get out. Still some waves.

The rug is quite thin, other than that it has met all of my expectations; quite happy with the product...The carpet looks nice in the room, however, it was purchased for a rental unit that has not been occupied yet… So I’m not able to offer you any kind of real opinion on the product yet… Let alone whether it’s easy to clean

The rug I got looked nothing like the photo. It was black, not navy, and had much more yellow (a horrible yellow) than the photo shows. The pattern wasn’t even the same.

Well made. We have steam cleaned it numerous time due to dogs and it has not faded or shrunk. Couldn't be happier with it!

Excellent quality carpet. It arrived as scheduled. We were worried that lines would be visible because of the way it is folded to be delivered but it has settled nicely with no visible markings. This is a great product for the price, comparible sized rugs in stores are near a thousand dollars
