I was looking forward to this vanilla powder for my home made oat milk. It was advertised as 100 % pure vanilla and NO sugar or additives. I was so disappointed that I can not taste any vanilla just a sweet powder taste that is similar to powdered drinks. I contacted the seller first to give them a chance to take care of this. The cost is $25.00 for 8 oz and can not be returned. Save your money this is a complete rip off. This is my first negative review I have ever written but I hope it can help someone else. Also for pure vanilla and no sweeteners , why is it 20 calories per tsp. ?

BEWARE-BEWARE-BEWARE!!! Highly allergenic !!! Smells very strong of dairy!!!!!! Set my allergies wild as I am highly allergic to dairy and gluten. Seems as though another China corporation that is not not not careful With their handling/packaging.

This is the Rolls Royce of vanilla; the Bugatti of of the bean. It is amazing to open the jar and be inundated by an overwhelming wave of mouth-watering PURE VANILLA essence. And it tastes divine, too! So far I have used it in coffee, oatmeal, homemade (home-cultured, etc.) yogurt, pudding, two of my cookie recipes, hot chocolate... and other things but the list is getting to be a bit much. My point is this: I have been LOOKING for things to which I can add a little, since it tastes and smells SO GOOD!I noticed a couple comments saying that this stuff must be fake for that exact reason. I disagree I've been to culinary school - this is REAL and it is AWESOME!. One of my long-time friends from college (we'e in our 50s now) is a lifelong resident of Madagascar: the source of premium vanilla beans so valuable that they are given serial numbers on the bush before they even ripen! (No joke, this - Madagascar beans are going for up to $550/kilo wholesale.) He pronounced THIS vanilla powder "... about the absolute best vanilla I have ever had..." It is NOT "fake" -- It's USDA organic; certified by ECOCERT (one of the largest organic certification organizations in the world, based in France); and is made in a GMP certified facility. Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) is a system established by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for ensuring that products are consistently produced and controlled according to quality standards. Even though this i s"Made in China," it is made to exacting standards set by and required by demanding consumers in a global market that has a lot of time -- and plenty of information at their fingertips!I'm just bummed I can;t give Gold Organic Vanilla Powder MORE than five stars! Vanilla lovers will not be sorry to find themselves holding a jar of this. :)

Everytime I open the jar I am struck by the sweet scent of vanilla. It smells so fresh and makes me feel like I'm in a bakery or an ice cream shop. The taste is amazing as well, I use it in my coffee with a little sweetener to make a great vanilla latte without having to wait in line at the local coffee shop. A little bit of this goes a long way too so this jar will last me for a while which makes it quite the bargin. If you've been thinking about switching to vanilla powder or just trying it for the first time like I did, I think you will be very impressed by this stuff.

Due to the vanilla shortage and the high price of pure vanilla extract, I bought a bottle of Authentic Foods vanilla powder back in May. It's lasted me till now, cooking regularly for a family of 11, but I'm almost out. It doesn't taste exactly extract, but more like cinna-bon frosting. Definitely edible. I bought another jar, but thought I'd try this brand, too. Oh, gosh. This one is disgusting. It smells like chapstick or hand lotion more than a bakery. I don't eat hand lotion, so I didn't taste it, but the nose knows. Try a different brand, please. Hope I get my requested refund.

I should have known better but I missed it. I was looking for vanilla that didn't have alcohol. This is extracted using water. I forgot, there are 3 methods of creating MSG: cooking w/long, hot heat, enzymolysis, hydrolysis (with water)! I started by just using a few grains, so didn't connect this product to my rising symptoms until I added less than an 1/8 of a teas. to 16 oz. mug of coffee. Heaping truck loads of bat guano! The MSG reaction was so severe that it took every med I had to knock it down and I'm still not out of the woods yet. For sensitive individyals this is POISON!!! Oh yeah, the seller I got it from doesn't give refunds.

Although vanilla prices have soared recently, I was determined to find one that had no sugar or alcohol. This product was a great surprise in how good it tastes and relatively reasonable pricing. I do a lot of KETO recipes for my followers and found this product to be exceptionally good.

Idk how this Vanilla doesn’t have 5/5 stars for reviews. This stuff is seriously awesome. The smell alone makes you melt. When you open the jar for the first time it smells so amazing almost indescribable.The reason I bought this vanilla is because it’s organkc and doesn’t use Alcohol like vanilla extract which is required to use at least 35% alcohol which is absurd...Anyways great product. Will definitely wanting to order more when I run out
