These are GREAT flag poles for your motorcycle. I now have two of them on my Goldwing, one for the American flag and one for the Marine Corps flag.They fit perfectly on the luggage rack and are extremely easy to mount. The machining and fit is first class and the flag poles look great once mounted. The mount portion is held together by two allen screws. Take the allen screws out entirely, remove the back part of the mount, position it where you want to mount it and then re-insert and tighten the allen screws. Total time to do this is somewhere way under five minutes.This mount is set up so that the pole may be rotated ninety degrees from vertical in either direction. This makes putting a full cover on your bike much easier. The flags that came with the item was a very small flag. I replaced both flags with 6"X9" flags which work great and look better than the small flag did. If you ride a Goldwing you don't have to worry about vibration causing the allen screws to loosen. If you ride a Harley you will want to use a little glyptol or Permatex on the allen screw threads to make sure that the screws stay tightly in place. :>)Everyboody out there ride safely and have a great day no matter what brand of metal monster you ride!!!

too heavy to put on the bike. very wobbly. a waste of money

I read several reviews that suggested the item was heavy and sturdy. I was surprised when it arrived and found it was light weight; it feels cheap. However, in fairness, it does what the manufacturer said it would do; it holds the cut price flag that came with it; it did fit my bike, and it rotates left and right. With regard to cost, this is very little product for a lot of money. I would not recommend this item for regular use. It might survive once a year use in a parade not exceeding 5-10 mph, any faster, and I suspect the flag would shred and pole would fly off the bike.
