Installed in our 2003 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO. Fit was good. Install is a bit of a pain just because of where 1 of the bolts is, nothing to do with the product. Works well and good cranking power. Ours seems to periodically get "stuck" where you hear the relay click but the start doesn't turn. Then you just try again and it goes. Never had that issue with the original one but it's not a big deal and it always seems to go on the 2nd try.

Starter works well so far, not real easy to install but that not the starters fault. Good price fast shipping, very happy would buy again

Perfect fit. Made in USA
Works like a champ. No more bendix rattle. Installed in my polaris sportsman 500. It can be installed without having to remove clutch assembly. When reinstalling the starter, use a shorter bolt in the bottom mounting hole. To my surprise, the starter and bendix assembly are made in USA. Starts great now!

No more frustration trying to start UTV.
Way cheaper than what Polaris wanted for a starter. Seems like good quality and works great. No more beating on the starter to get it to work. Time will tell but so far so good. I installed this in a 2005 Polaris Ranger 6X6.
