The color is not leather black like the picture. This black is similar to laser printer ink black, a dark teal like color.

I really like this phone case, I've had it for about two months and its worked out really well. I thought I may not like a leathery feel on my phone but I actually like it a lot now! I have dropped it a few times and it has been protective so far! I always recommend having a screen protector on as well as a phone case though. At first when I got the phone and put my cards in I panicked and had no idea how to get them out but theres a small thing you pull on the back of the case to get all the cards out which is SO NICE!

Hide my cards perfectly.
