faulty hardware
I loved the look and feel of this set. But after 1 wearing and 1 hand washing the small plastic clip that fastens the strap to the front broke. It is made of cheap, thin, plastic. For the price point there should be more durable hardware.

A couple of weeks before the Christmas Holidays, I thought a friend of mine in the USA, who was suffering from breast cancer, might be cheered up if I sent her some silk nightwear. After several hours searching the web I came across the Texeresilk.com website and decided to order the Silk Nightgown and Robe Set - Royal Peacocks - 100% Silk, Hand Painted Women's Nightwear. The set was duly delivered in what she described as a `beautiful box'. Unfortunately, I failed to notice that I had ordered a small size whereas she needed a larger size. I wrote to Texere explaining the problem and received a most cordial reply asking me to get my friend to return the small sized outfit and they would then exchange it, which they did.When my friend received and tried on the robe and nightgown she sent me the following e-mail......"Texere's silk nightgown and robe ensemble is as incredibly comfortable as it luxurious. both the robe and the nightgown are quite generously sized. the silk is soothing to the skin and surprisingly warm in winter. of course, the chinese-style hand-painted flora and fauna enhances the overall beauty of this ensemble, and it is certainly a pleasure to own and wear this work of art."I therefore consider that Texere is one of the best companies I have dealt with and have no hesitation in giving them 5 stars both for their products and their customer relations.Geoff,Somerset. Perfect and a delight!
This set is gorgeous. I have never purchased silk nightgowns or robes before, but after reading the wonderful reviews of this product, I was intrigued. It really is stunning. I wear a size 18 so I ordered an XL and it fit beautifully with even a little room to spare. The nightgown is very flattering and so, so soft and luxurious to sleep in! It doesn't tangle or bunch at night like I was worried it might. It was like sleeping without clothes but better! I have two small children and they both love being carried around when I'm wearing these pieces. 😀

This set is something I had wanted for awhile. It is very nice quality silky and the hand painting is very beautiful! The robe has adjustable straps for those of you wondering. I wear about a size 4 and got the small, it is fitted without being form fitting, and I know I will have years of enjoyment in this beautiful set. Thank you, Texere Silk!

Great gift for someone you care
I gave this set to my cousin's wife. She loves it so much and cannot stop thanking me about it.The quality is second too none. The hand-painted flowers are so beautiful.I think it is fairly priced for the set.

Beautiful and light weight without being transparent. Stays cool when it's hot and will keep a chill of you when it's cool in your home (mid 60's).
