Works perfectly with electronic ballasts
I had installed a sensor switch in the new house's garage, only to find out that the light never turned off completely. I went to Home Depot, Lowe's and Ace and none of the experts there knew what to suggest. I then did some research online and found out about electronic and magnetic ballasts, so I went back to the stores to ask for a sensor switch compatible with electronic ballasts. Again, no help. Then I found this and decided to buy it without the certainty that it would work. Once I installed it, the light in the garage is working exactly as I had expected. If you have an electronic ballast, this is the switch to get.

A little difficult to program. I was used to one's with dials and or dip switches inside to for ease of changing settings. This one you have to use the one button (on/off) to program. It's time consuming but doable. Seems to work well though. If your good and patient with electronics then this probably won't be a big deal to you.

Call for Help
Installed this in my shop with a lighting load of 8 four foot high output T-5 florescent and 4 eight foot high output T-12 florescent. when I attempted to set up the programing, I was unsure of myself and when I left the shop and the lights were on when I returned a half hour later, the were still on. In my successive attempt to program the switch, I figured something was wrong as the blinking LED wasn't signaling. I took it out to ensure I could turn the lights off.

Decent occupancy switch
They’re a quality sensor switch but the design is mutch bulkier than other sensor switches. They won’t fit well in a junction box with many other wires. They work really well in a single switch but if you want them for a three way switch you have to jimmy rig them kind of and it’s a pain if you haven’t worked with something like them. They are not wired the same as a standard three way switch. I would personally buy different ones if I was ever to install occupancy switches again.
