These are really great quality pieces. I highly advise getting the special drain wrench and a heat gun. You will also need plumbers putty. Depending on how old the drain is, it can be pretty hard to get the old one out but it's doable. Highly recommend for updating the bathroom. We went with all Moen brushed bronze matching pieces. About $300 for the set.

The scratched, discolored chrome drain cover is now history, and the replacement looks great. It matches the other Moen items very well. Brushed nickel upstairs and oil rubbed bronze downstairs.You'll need three things:1) An $11 drain wrench (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000AO193S).2) A wrench or heavy duty screwdriver.3) Small amount of plumber's putty.Insert the wrench and slowly turn to gently break the old one free and slowly unscrew. Scrape off any excess silicone or dried putty. Wrap a bead of putty just under the lip of the new one and THREAD CAREFULLY before tightening. This was a real challenge in one of my two tubs and took patience to get it right.Very happy with the results.

Heavy and feels very durable. Even at $70 I feel it was worth the money. It matches our rubbed bronze moen bath fixtures perfectly.

Although a bit pricey, this is really just 20 bucks more than a plastic generic one from Home Depot or Lowe's. Quality is awesome, this looks solid and looks good. Fits standard 1.5 thread fitting (as someone explained earlier measurements work differently in the pluming world, this is not diameter). Not to strip paint off the screw, I recommend tightening the screw through a tissue or paper towel. Conversion bracket from 2 to 1 screw is not included so you might have to make your own from aluminum or so.

I only received the drain cover not the overflow cover in this order.Not happy with this.Appearance is nice and drain cover is fine.But I need the other part !!!! I need it - like yesterday.LBUpdate - I received a no-charge replacement to fix the problem. The drain cover came just a few days after my initial review and complaint that I did not get the entire package of items. I was happy with how quickly this was handled. Everything is looking good now.

Just an FYI, this overflow drain plate only has one screw hole. Most older Moen products have two, so just be advised there is a little more work in switching them out than just on and off. I ended up purchasing a generic one from the hardware store to save the trouble. But the color matched and the drain itself installed flawlessly!

This is a beautiful item, and I wish it would fit my tub. During the remodel of our bathroom, we bought everything possible through Amazon. This was especially helpful as my wife and I both have rather demanding careers and live a fast paced life. This item Did Not Fit the tub. At least the drain part doesn't fit. Well, that is all I have to say about that. As the people above mentioned, we can't return it. Advice, double check before you order. However, I have only returned (2) things over the time I have shopped at Amazon. I have bought many many items. The returns policy is a good one. Fast and courteous service is all we expect and that is what we have gotten. Will still shop Amazon.

As with most Moen products, this was very heavy duty and works perfect. It replaced a 15 year old "gold" moen product and replaced it without any issues and looks great! Matches the Moen Caldwell products!

I purchased the vanity taps, bathtub and shower tap in same colour, oil rubbed bronze. Looks amazing. Great quality.
