The media could not be loaded. This kettle is a family favorite. It heats up very fast and is fun to watch which makes the heat up time go by so quickly. It’s great price point as compared to other kettles and fun to use while still retaining it’s utility. It’s easy to clean and the size is perfect for my family’s use. So far it feels and operates without disappointing. Feels durable and as compared to my old kettle it’s much more beautiful. The lid is easy to open with the button on the top and is easy to fill. In my opinion I’m very happy and satisfied with my order. Sometimes, I push the button just to see it light up!

I needed a new electric kettle, saw this one at an affordable price and thought I would try a glass pitcher instead of the plastic ones I have had. I didn't even notice that this Pitcher said 'illuminated' until I unpacked the box. I was so surprised when I turned it on and a blue glowing light surrounded the water in the pitcher. It is so cool looking and helpful also because I can tell at a glance when the water has reached boiling and turned itself off.Easy to use and functional since the base with the cord stays in place when the glass pitcher is lifted off. Really pleased with this purchase.

Very few of us have the luxury to waste time or money, especially in this economy. I will not blindly steer you into wasting your precious resources.PROS- Great clean looking design- Boils water quickly- Has a cool blue LED light that just makes it look cool as the water boils- Made of glass so it's easy to cleanCONS- Made of glass (pro and con) so it could break if knocked off counter. Plus I have a small apartment kitchen and like to run cold water in my kettles (metal ones) to cool them down right away. I'm afraid to try that with glass.BOTTOM LINEI'm Gen X and originally thought electric kettles were a waste. It's not that tough to boil water in a pot on the stove. I received one for Christmas one year and after a few years and it stopped working so I had to boil water in a pan old school style until the new one arrived. Yeah, the pan method sucks and life is better with an electric kettle.Anyway, this is an excellent choice for an electric kettle and one I highly recommend, especially when on sale. Personally, I like the glass and especially the blue LED lights when the kettle is on.

Funny story, I actually made this purchase to pour boiling water over weeds coming up through the space between my pavers as I saw it was a hack on social media. It worked for that and now it works for tea too! I was amazed at how fast it brought water to a boil without heating up the house. It’s a tad tricky to get on the base but once you get the hang of it, it works like a dream! Highly recommend for tea, coffee, noodle cups and weed killing!

The screen broke off the one we got and we ended up returning it. I like how quickly it heats and that it’s glass. The light is nice when it’s heating water. Love the color of the pot. But the plastic could not be cheaper. It is dollar store quality plastic, as thin as they could get away with, gaps everywhere two pieces meet, and you can see that this was inexpensive. They didn’t look this cheap when I bought one of these several years ago! Returned. Will consider buying this in another color and maybe that will disguise the plastic quality a little better. I would pay more for this if it were better quality. The design and make and color options are otherwise great. They cheaped out on the materials to charge little, but they would be better off improving the quality and asking for more money.

Love love this electric water heater. Has a blue colour when it is switched on and auto-stops when water boils. Easy to clean too.

This is our favorite tea kettle that we've tried so far.Easy to clean: It has a wide mouth that you can fit your hand inside easily for cleaning. Vinegar and water works really well removing any water stains/buildup if done on regular basis.The interior of the kettle is all glass with the exception of the metal heating plate and the plastic lid. Plastic handle is quite sturdy for easy grip.The mesh/plastic filter pops off for you to clean that as well. FYI: The filter screen rarely lasts as long as the lifespan of the kettle. Once you see any signs of damage, remove it and throw it away. Otherwise once it is compromised, the mesh filter degrades/erodes really fast (and you will notice tiny flecks of it in the water). So just ditch it once you see an signs of tearing/damage.The glass DOES get hot. So be mindful of where you place it if you have small children.Excess cord can be neatly wound around the underside of power base.The kettle lights up when you press the power button located on handle, and the light goes off when it's done boiling. Makes it super easy to know when it's on or off.The unit comes with a replacement warranty of 2 years. I have utilized the warranty and the process was easy. My last unit died within 6 mos of purchase (wouldn't power on).As of Sept 2023...To qualify for replacement you need to:#1 do NOT throw the kettle or base out until you get the replacement unit or part in your hands.Go to the Ovente website and click on "contact us" then select "warranty claim" under the How Can We Help tab. Fill out the form and attach copy of receipt.Wait for response with instructions. In my case, the unit just died for no reason/wouldn't power on, so they responded asking me to provide the following via email:1. A picture showing the 4-digit code located on the silver sticker attached to the bottom of the kettle or base;2. A picture and/or short video clip (less than 20MB file size) showing the issue/problem;3. Your mailing addressThey then reviewed the claim and in a few days emailed back with:We have received instruction from our supervisor that we don't need the item back. All we ask is that you cut the cord at the very end of its cord close to the plug of the rubber stopper. Once cut, kindly send us a picture so we can process the replacement as soon as possible.(whew! Good thing I didn't assume it was safe to throw it away!).I submitted the Pic of the cord cut... And received my replacement kettle about a week later week/free shipping. Very pleased with the return process!
