Roundhill Furniture Swivel Black Bonded Leather Adjustable Hydraulic Bar Stool, Set of 2

I rarely write a review, mostly because I'm busy and just do not take the time to do so. My husband never writes a review either, but this time he asked me to write one about these bar stools. He was very impressed with how well the stools were packaged for delivery. They were well protected and there was no extra wasted space inside the box. It was as though the box was designed to perfectly fit the packing of these two bar stools. He liked how well the instructions were written for assembly and said they were very easy to assemble. I think he had them both assembled in less than 30 minutes.We are both impressed with how nice the 360 degree swivel is and the ease of using the up and down mechanism is great. Works very well, a smooth operation and they adjust perfectly to the various heights we need. The leather and chrome finish is very nice and the color matches the color we saw on our computer screen. We know color can vary from monitor to monitor, but the gray color I ordered and received matches the photo on the website perfectly. As for comfort we find them to be quite comfortable and the price is so great. We got two bar stools for what I thought we would end up paying for one bar stool. They are really a good deal and we don't feel we could ask for more. We are extremely pleased with this purchase and highly recommend these bar stools to anyone looking for an inexpensive stool that works well, is of good quality and looks great. These were EXACTLY what I was looking for in my transitional house! They were so easy to assemble, I did all four by myself in under twenty minutes. Seriously it takes just four screws to put one of these together. I was a bit worried about the transit with such a shiny chrome finish, but they were wrapped and packaged so extremely well there wasn't a single scratch or dent on any of the barstools I put together. The leather is super soft and neutral (no red or orange undertones, which is hard to find). They seem overall pretty sturdy, but can tip a bit on the highest setting, which is really high and I don't forsee us using. Absolutely stunning! Amazing value for the price! 10/10 would recommend.

I have been using the most rickety of stools behind the counter at my hat shop. The braces would perpetually loosen and the fabric was tearing, and it just looked all around raggedy, so it was time for a new chair. I saw this set of two matching chairs with leather seats at what I consider a really good price, so I ordered them and hoped for the best.Well I was not disappointed. It took my husband about five minutes to put the chairs together. There was very little work involved, and I'm sure I could have done it myself, but I prefer to let him do it because that way, if something goes wrong, I can blame him. Plus he has all of the tools hidden from me. Anyway, he brought me out a chair and wow. Nice looking chair!The adjuster is really good on this chair and it pretty much stays where I put it. Every so often I do find myself sitting a little bit lower than I'd started out, but not a big deal. The seat is comfortable. And the chair itself is lightweight enough so that I can move it out of the way to get under the counter. I like the shiny base even though it is a dust attractant. These are all around good looking chairs.The chair does tend to make me feel as if I'm being pushed forward. To counteract that, when my husband put the second chair together, he added a piece of metal to try to get the seat to lean back more. This made no noticeable difference to me, and I still feel as if I'm being cast forward a bit. Sitting behind my counter, though, it doesn't really bother me. I think if I didn't have the counter to lean on, it might bother me, but it's fine.The material on my chair has a couple of imperfections, but nothing really noticeable. Overall I am very happy with my new chair, and my husband is happy that there were two, and that the price was right. I would recommend these. They are good looking and comfortable.

These chairs are well constructed and comfortable. After I assembled them, I was concerned about the "leaning forward" feeling that others have mentioned. I thought I felt it to some degree, but I asked family members to try them out, then I asked them if they felt like they were leaning forward. My kids all said no. So I thought I might have just had that expectation and it biased my opinion. Update! My wife came home and checked them out. Later I asked what she thought of them and she said that they were not comfortable. I asked why, and she said she felt like she was slipping forward. I had not mentioned that to her, and she had not read the reviews, so it seems as if the phenomenon is real. I will shim the front of these chair with a couple of flat washers in order to give them a slight tilt back. All in all, I think these chairs are a great value, and they are attractive and sturdy.These chairs are comfortable and operate smoothly. Assembly could not be any easier. One of my chairs came with the small plastic ring that covers where the post and base join cracked. I assembled the chair, and it looked fine without it, and matched the Spyra Bar Table that I bought on Amazon, so I am not going to bother getting a replacement. For the price, and considering that these chairs will only be used on occasion when entertaining, I am very happy. I plan to buy four more for the bar, if my wife likes the tilt after I shim them.
