Fun and fast little car! 4wd is a plus and doesn't effect the speed at all. It's waterproof too, which is also a plus. The lights are mainly just for decoration and don't really work at all, but the car does have a plug if you want to add real lights. The roof is strong and durable but the bumpers are flimsy and useless. Ground clearance is low so off-roading has to be kept to a minimum. It works best in light snow or shallow sand. Also, the top cover doesn't come completely off, it has 2 clips on the front and a hinge on the back, which can be annoying. Overall, This is a quality car that packs a lot of punch for the size. Not for the inexperienced but fun for the advanced!

After losing two rc cars to water, we decided the next one needed to be able to resist going through puddles. This car has been fantastic and is still going strong after two years. It had been run in the snow, on beaches, through puddles, you name it.Battery life is about 15 minutes, but that is a lot of play time. We bought a spare battery, but have never had to use it.Remote is easy to use and control. The trim features are nice for adjusting.After many crashes, we had to replace a lot of the parts related to the front suspension. We replaced the drive shafts with the metal versions with good luck so far.The fact that parts are easily available is one of the awesome things about this car. Even if the electronics got trashed by water, we could just order another module and be up and running again.Highly recommend this product!!

Purchased 2 of these RC cars for Christmas gifts for son and husband. They were a big hit! The car itself is amazingly fast and has great power. We were at the beach for Christmas and these cars handled the sand wonderfully. On the second day of use husband ran into my leg and the car stopped working. Fortunately my husband is very good electronically and was able to get the car going again. (sand had gotten into a connection preventing car from working). Someone without electronics knowledge may not of been able to get working again. That was a week ago and the cars been fine ever since. I had purchased the extra batteries (as recommended by other reviewers). But my husband said they are the wrong ones -so not sure which are correct ones. But after a week of usage my husband said that the battery life is just fine. More than 20 minutes of play on each full charge. Lastly wish they had various color options to easily tell them apart. But that is minor. So yes I highly recommend this little car for ages 9 to 90.

I purchased 3 different RC cars for Christmas 2019. One for myself (40's) and one for my 10yr old and 6yr old. This car is supper fast. Definitely not for indoor use. It's way too fast! There is a good battery life to it too. we have a lot of dirt and grass in in our area. This car blast through everything and quickly. The remote feels like a quality remote. The others I purchased for my kids feel like real cheap plastic garbage. This battery is quite different that the standard 4 AA wrapped packs in most cars. This one stays inside the car while it charges. It is water resistant, but not water proof.Parts on this car might break easily. But that's because it's ridiculously fast. You can easily adjust the setting on the handheld remote, to slow down the acceleration. On full power it flips up and backwards when full throttle is given. It's too much for my kids because they have a harder time finding the right touch and go with the throttle. But I still let them drive crazy in an open field. In your house, you're going to hit walls at speeds of 20-45 mph, which will ultimately break this car.We are in now way RC car buffs. But I can't tell you enough about how much fun we have. It drives our dogs bonkers and our face muscles hurt from all the laughter. It charges up quick. I hope this think can last a long time. We already feel like we got our money's worth after just a month.

This thing is fast and tough! Much too fast for indoors... be aware this is an outside toy. And while it's got a fair amount of power, it does get stuck in snow and leaf piles. That aside, it goes stupid fast and we've driven the thing full speed into trees, a wall of ice, through mud and large puddles. The front cracked a bit (mostly from the ice wall) but it only did cosmetic damage.It's a little fast for small kids to drive. My 6 year old likes to watch more than use it, but he is able to. A useful feature is the speed control... you can limit the max speed, making it easier to control (it flips fairly easily at top speed)All told, lots of fun and highly recommended!

Great 4x4, very fast and powerful. This rivals my traxxas 4x4 that cost 4 times as much. Not quite the same quality or as easy to fix (replacement parts) but for the price I would rather buy this one any day. Wish I would have bought 2 more when on sale for the holidays. The size is great for playing on harder surfaces. Does not work great in snow and long grass but nothing really does at this size. I have been using RC cars, planes and drones for many years and am very impressed by the value of this RC truck. I will be buying more.Only gripe is that there is a flaw in the steering, have not investigated fully yet but appears there is a sensor or circuit that locks the steering when wet/dirty. After cleaning and drying seems to work fine again. I have had worse things happen on my other RC cars.

It was amazing the first 3 weeks and my son really enjoyed it. 4th week started making little trouble after 4 weeks it started shifting to reverse in middle of driving and we couldn't stop it.

It worked great for a while. Then it began having signal issues. My kids didn't tell me in time so I can't return it. Only 3 months of random use before it was broken. Waste of money. There are way better options out there for the same price.

I was driving, rolled and flipped it and it stopped running. I took it home to charge it, after a full charge it still doesn't run. (3rd time using it)It's super fast and fun. Unfortunately it doesn't work anymore.

My 7 year old saved his money for this and was so excited to get it. It is not working properly after 2 days and pieces are breaking off.

Was excited - gave it to my kid on Xmas. We charged it, used it on a dry driveway for 10 mins - it was AWESOME. Charged it the next day for a while, then went to use it again, and no throttle. Steering wheel responds (a bit), and no throttle.
