pros...nice light, light in weight, a clear bright light pattern. this one also has a on/off switch if you are connecting it to a hub dynamo. also made in germany as well.cons...somewhat thin plastic, so to me does not feel very sturdy. also the picture used does not show the actual wires, which are missing in the picture. the wires for attaching a rear light are not housed in the body of the light, but are mearly two very short wires hanging outside. i have another light, where the rear light attachments are securly housed inside the light body.

This light does what it says, it is easy to fit more than bright enough. my only niggle is when stopping at a junction the fall in light output is greater than expected compared to a Union rear light I use, none the less this is visible to other road users adequately. recomended product for dynamo users.

Vast improvement on the halogen dynamo front light that it replaces.The capacitor works well but doesn't last very long. I'm very pleased with it. It was also easy to fit and compatible with my existing Shimano 6V front wheel hub dynamo. Good spread of light and it throws forward much further than the halogen light did. I was shamed into getting an upgrade by my friends LED battery lights which were so much better than my dyno front light. Technology has clearly moved on.

The light is connected an rather old Shimano dynamo, but it performs admirably well.Since I've been using it everyday for 2 weeks, through heavy rain and cold nights, I feel it has passed the initial toughness tests. Only time will tell how well the light will age.The only downside is the decrease of power whenever the bicycle stops, it's still visible but not that bright.I would buy it again and would recommend it to a friend.

with built-in reflector, led light that'll last and last, on/off switch, leads to dynamo (you may need to add connectors depending on your dynamo) and short leads with connectors to add on a rear light from 1 dynamo, plus that most useful function STAND LIGHT for when you're stopped at a junction, this is a perfect cheap light to add to a dynamo setup. The beam is pretty decent for a bike light, certainly better than the battery lights I've used. You could pay ten times as much and get a brighter beam dyno-light but really, there's no need. you can see far enough ahead at the speeds a bike goes, and traffic can see you.

This was so cheap I had some doubt it would be as effective as it is but it's a bright, well focused front light with a capable standlight function which provides adequate light for a few minutes when standstill. It takes very little effort for it to function at full capacity and it's unusually small for its type and quite elegant. Highly recommended.
