Works well if used properly. Size is relative.
I've used this pan numerous times for frying eggs and making grilled cheese sandwiches. I use a light (and I mean VERY light) coating of butter on the first item I'm frying and have no problems thereafter. The pan is not particularly thick, which is good and bad. It transfers heat well and very quickly heats up. Some people have the tendency to crank the heat up when heating up a frying pan. I suspect this may be the problem some people have with sticking and ruining the non-stick coating. I've had sticking problems in the past (with other non-stick pans) when I used aerosol sprays to 'grease' my very hot pans. I haven't tried sprays with this pan, so I don't know their effectiveness. I stick to real butter in minute quantities on fairly low heat. Work fine.Size? Yes it's small. It' SUPPOSED to be small. The descriptions states its size, so why would anybody be surprised when they see it in person. Ruler-challenged perhaps? The pan fits a standard sized SANDWHICH bread slice, not a huge 200 calorie stone-ground Neanderthal chunk of dough. A fried egg fits perfectly on a sandwich sized slice of bread, so this pan is perfect for that purpose. And, as I stated, I make grilled cheese sandwiches too. Barely fits..., but does. One drawback however is the fact that the smaller size means a part of your stove's burner may be exposed when cooking since the pan may not cover the entire burner area. Of course I'm referring to electric heating elements. I have no idea about a gas-fired burner.I use large eggs, but If I had more use for them, I'd buy extra-large eggs so that my my spread-out square eggs would be thicker. Large eggs ,after spreading out to all four corners of the pan, do tend to end up a little thin. But not THAT THIN. Most recipes I use call for large eggs, so that's what I buy them. It i what it is.Don't overheat and it'll be fine.

Great little pan for perfect eggs on toasts!
I've used it a few times already and I am totally satisfied.I use it for eggs so that fit my toasts perfectly :)I did not ''prep'' my pan (what the heck) and I am using it as I would any other pan to make eggs with, over medium heat. My eggs never stick to the pan.The handle becomes warm, but not hot. It is a small handle, so just need to make sure you put your pan towards the side of the burner, so the handle is not exposed directly to the heat (it's just common sense really).I bought 2 of them; I gave one to a friend and she is just as pleased with hers as I am with mine.
