Just to remember once you snap it back together don't forget your insert pad as you can see the dip in leather that's because i dint do it right, its comfort but not important. I forgot mine and I glued my buty piec back on because it broke when taking it off. BE very careful when removing the snap in place beauty section. ALSO, its a little bit shorter than the factory and you might need to sew on a piece of cloth to help hold I dod not and I used a electric stapler. would not penetrate with hand stapler.

The material is great, seems very heavy duty and I like it much better than the original. If you look at my pictures you'll probably think, what is this guy talking about, it fits perfect! It does fit perfect, but the problem is getting it to fit perfectly. It's a nightmare job. I had to use every bit of the strength in my fingers, hands and forearms to get that thing pulled tight. I think about 90% of people could not do the job, maybe 95%. It was so freaking tight I returned the first piece and got a replacement piece because I was convinced it was cut too small. The second piece was identical.What I would recommend is bringing the material to an auto apolstery place and see what they would charge to install in. If you could pay like $50 to have it installed it would be sooooo worth it.I wanted to give this less stars, but the material is so nice and in the end it fit great, with a lot of struggling, so I had to give it 4 stars. If this thing was literally 1/4" longer I think it would of been tremendously easier to install.

Had to replace the cover on my console lid for my 2005 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT Thunder Road Edition. Was very simple to remove the original. Once you line up the stitching of the new one it takes a little strength to put the new one on but it fits perfect. Looks much better than the one that had cracks and holes in it. Totally transformed the inside of my truck. I love it!

I really only bought this because the spring in my factory hinge for the console broke, did not need the cover itself, just needed the hinge. The cover looks nice, but it would not match the charcoal interior so luckily I didn’t need that. The hinge however once installed will not allow the cover to latch. In the picture it looks like it should work, but when you compare it side-by-side to the factory hinge it is offset about an 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch. So I popped the pin out of the hinge, stole the spring and put it in the factory hinge and in the end I accomplished my goal. But should’ve just looked for a replacement spring.

fits as well as the factory cover, its a little tight length wise but after sitting in the sun for an hour it streched enough to fit almost like a new one

I have a 2000 Dodge 1500. Like most the sunglass holder is broken. This replacement doesn’t fit. The clip that locks it close isn’t even anywhere close to touching and if that did work. There’s gaps along the sides. It’s worse than my broken original. Worst yet, you try to return and they want almost the cost of the product to ship it back. Highly NOT recommended!! I would’ve left 0 stars it that was an option.

Terrible terrible terrible. Too short in every dimension. Like 1 inch off. Stitch is terrible and leave a gap. No matter what you do it won’t work. Don’t bother. Total waste of time. Amazon products are starting to become the worst
