Does anyone know if the more expensive O2 Cool 8 battery Rechargeable Model FD10006AU with built in batteries blow stronger than this FD10002A model?

I don't know about the fan with the rechargeable batteries, but I know the 02 Cool fan with the 8 batteries worked a lot better than the one with the 6 batteries. The one with the 6 batteries hardly gave a breeze and we sent it back. The one with the 8 batteries is much better. Hope this helped.

How much noise does this fan make please? Looking for very quiet. Thank You

With the fan on high, sitting 6' behind me, and me next to my computer (2'), the fan is about the same noise level (roughly 40dB), and I have a quiet computer. On low, it is even quieter. I have a smaller import fan in my room which makes a lot more noise both on low and high. I like it! I'll have to echo the problem of one-handed switch handling, though. O2 Cool, don't degrade the switch detent. Instead, add a nub to the slider. For people who want white noise, buy a white noise generator. Here's one for $17.88 Prime https://is.gd/lmIfM3

how long does it run with batteries?

We took it camping once and it lasted almost two days on batteries, not continuous use, but heavy use. I disconnect it sometimes from the power supply in my bedroom to use it while I cook or in my sewing room short term and it lasts several days with these shorter battery uses. I'll be buying a second one before our next camping trip, for sure.

While on AC, how many watts does it consume?

According to Anna, the input is 100-240V- 50/60Hz 0.5A. Your home's electrical outlets are most likely 108-110V. So thanks to Anna's data we now know that when you plug it into your wall the voltage will be 110 volts and the current will be .5 amps. Using Ohm's Law we can find power (wattage) consumed by the fan.110V * .5A = 55WThis fan will consume around 55 W per cycle depending on your voltage. I hope this is all right, I'm still an apprentice.
