Sumptuous coffee table book that will certainly get you through the winter; but should it give you a hankering to visit the mongrel city that is Tangier(s) be aware that this the very private part, accessible only to guests of the predominantly Western owners and not always under the idyllic blue skies that form so gorgeous a backdrop to such lush gardens and exotic architecture.
