Mountval Laces, Performance Shoe Laces For Hiking Outdoor Boots

Had a hard time finding replacement shoe laces for Salewa mountain trainer shoes. The length (48") is perfect but the thickness of these laces made threading the shoe laces very difficult. I knew up front that this might be the case, so I am not faulting in the product description. The quality of the laces appears to be higher than the original laces my shoes came with.

I'm usually shredding my laces. I replace them a few times a year at least. Nothing has lasted before these. Since I put them on my boots, I haven't had an issue or needed to replace them. I would love to know what makes these different, but they're a good price and durable as anything I've seen. Lasted twice as long as anything I've tried before on my work boots, no sign of damage so far. They're not stiff, huge choice of colors/patterns. No complaints, planning to swap them out on other shoes and hiking boots!

These laces frayed on the first use. Put them to work on my Asolo TPS 535's and they're already coming apart. The top three lace points on these boots are metal which catch the laces like a cats claw pulling apart yarn. No good Mountval, no good.

Ordered 36" laces, which should have fit boots with 5-6 pairs of eyelets according to this seller. Just fit 5, had to leave last one open, shoes are loose now. Don't believe their guidelines. Look them up on internet so you can buy the correct length.

While it's hard to get excited about something like shoelaces, I have to say these are about the best I've found. They are substantial ... thick and solid. Best of all ... THEY STAY TIED!

Very disappointed in the laces, they were NOT as labeled and I could not return them. They did NOT fit with the hiking boots that I bought them for even though I counted the eyelets and had the exact number as represented by product.

The plastic at the end was so short that I was unable to lace it in one particularly difficult hole in my boot. Poor manufacturing.

Color is way off from photos. Thought I was getting off white, but they were such a dark ivory, almost light tan. Did not work for what I needed.

Not much to say about laces, these are perceived good quality and fit our walking boots well, the 120cm fit as expected.
