BUY THESE
I started powerlifting about six years ago. After borrowing straps regularly, I decided to purchase my own. These were the first pair I’ve owned - purchased in March of 2019. These are by far the most comfortable straps I’ve used (as compared to Alpha, Gym Reaper, and a few other brands). They’re the perfect length, perfect amount of give/flexibility, and they don’t harden/stiffen over time. I cycle lift, lifting anywhere from 3-4x week to 5-6x week. Deadlifts and top-half deadlifts are hit each week, so these bad boys have had a run for their money. I reached out to Rip Toned last week to let them know that my well loved, and very well used, straps were officially being retired. Incredibly, the immediately sent me a replacement pair. I cannot say enough good things about the product or company. If you’re considering these, just buy them!

Easy ordering, quick delivery, exactly what I expected.
I ordered the Rip Toned straps to help reduce some of my over gripping injuries. I got exactly what I expected. I've used them in the gym and they work well. These are solid, well made, and seem quite tough and strong. If you’re looking for something more or less than weight lifting straps, like car parts or bacon, then don't order these lifting straps. These lifting straps are not edible nor can they convert gasoline into vehicle motion. While they have a similar shape and length as bacon, you shouldn't eat them. Also, while they may be the same color as my tire iron these straps can't used to remove lug nuts that hold tires on a vehicle. Also, these straps won't lift the weights for you. I heard the next gen straps may lift the weight for you so you can sit on the couch and eat chips while the straps put in the work. Not sure how far along in the design phase this is and I can neither confirm nor deny this is true.Summary:These are great lifting straps that can be used to help prevent over gripping and the associated over gripping issues while weight lifting. If you’re looking for more or less than solid, well made, black lifting straps then these are not for you. If you’re looking for bacon, which makes everything better, then buy bacon.Pros:- Solid, well made, tough weight lifting strapsCons:- Not Bacon- Won't lift the weight for you while you sit and eat chips.

One of my favorite weightlifting moves is the deadlift
One of my favorite weightlifting moves is the deadlift. For various reasons I went without this move in my workout arsenal for a couple of years. A few months back I began deadlifting again. I was happy to cycle this powerful move back into my workouts and quickly got the pounds I was lifting on the rise. Now I pride myself on good grip strength. As someone who does a lot of pulling and hanging movements and trained in jiu jitsu for years I'd say my grip is pretty solid. Once I started blowing past the 300 lb. mark with my deadlifts it still became difficult to hold onto the bar for multiple reps a couple of sets in. At rep 4 on set 3 it would take everything I had to hold the bar for another rep. That's where these straps come in. I knew I would need a little assistance on days I wanted to progress my deadlift weight if I didn't want to stagnate, so I gave in to buying lifting straps. What wonders they work! With these straps I can do 5x5 lifting with 350 lbs. no problem. I don't have to worry about my grip giving out on me. My back thanks these straps as I continue to add more plates on every week. The straps are built tough, and I have already put them through many workouts with no signs of wear and tear. I can see these lasting quite a long time. I am happy I finally bought these.

Works well!
These straps have been through everything. I had a pair in the past that lasted me years, and it was hanging by a thread until one day it snapped. I decided to buy another one, and I can confidently say that it still holds up well. I am able to use it for deadlifts, and it withstands multiple lifts of 600+ pounds. It may not be the best option available, but it is affordable, and if it does break, you can easily purchase another one.

Mark Pasay, the co-founder of Rip Toned, cares! Support sellers who care!
I bought these lifting straps in 2017 and I loved them. They were durable, comfortable, and supplemented my grip during heavy deadlifts and prevented my callous from ripping off and helped me surpass some PRs. They also worked well for lat pulldowns and any type of rows. Within the year of 2017 I lost my straps or they were stolen from the gym and alas, I was strapless and never bought new ones. Fast forward to 11/2020, more than 3 years later and I was looking for new lifting straps to buy when I came across these and forgot completely about the lifetime replacement warranty. I emailed Rip Toned asking if lost/stolen straps were covered by the lifetime replacement warranty and Mark Pasay replied and said no it was not covered, but was SO GENEROUS and decided to send me a replacement pair this one time and I was nearly brought to tears at his kindness. Not only this event, but seeing his name on answers to the 1000's of questions Amazon customers ask regarding his products shows he really cares about his products, but even more so, the consumers as well. Support people like Mark Pasay!
