Unbeatable for the price
Nice sturdy table, hard to imagine getting anything better for the price. (Why is the version with backsplash and no casters so much cheaper than all the other ones?)I was disappointed in how much styrofoam packaging was in the box. I've had bicycles shopped to me with less packaging! Most if not all of the styrofoam pieces could have been corrugated cardboard, which I can at least toss in the recycling. As it stands, I now have a huge trash bag full of styrofoam pieces.Putting it together was smooth enough. The biggest pain was removing the protective film, which wanted to come off in 2-inch strips or smaller, especially the narrow pieces that wrapped around edges. In return for that annoyance, you get pretty much unmarred surfaces. I'll be putting stuff on here that's sure to scratch it up, so it was kinda lost on me.I've got an electric sterilizer and a pressure cooker and cooktop on the top shelf, and I'm using the bottom shelf for storage of relatively lightweight things. It's plenty sturdy and stable for this, but I can't say how it'd go with the full rated load.I haven't had it for long, but I'll update the review if anything comes up in the next few months.

Instructions are backwards
I like this product. Was a little scared due to previous reviews noting damage. Mine came unscathed...one or two very minor production dings in the table top, but nothing to be concerned about. Stainless steel work surface is a fingerprint magnet!Minor damage - the threads on one of the holes on the adjustable shelf is messed up. I can't install one of the screws. The shelf seems pretty sturdy with just one screw in the leg (there are 3 more legs for a total of 7 good screws) - I don't plan on testing out the load rating capacity of the lower shelf, so all is good. It's tall! I knew that going in, but seems even taller due to the size (I got a 24" x 18"). For rolling around, next time I would get something a bit wider...18" width and 38.5" tall is not necessarily wobbly, but is a little top heavy.Instructions: Rather than assembling the wheels & legs first, sliding the four legs through the shelf openings, then trying to seat this 4-legged octopus of an assembly into the table top, I flipped the assembly order. It was much simpler to first install the legs into the table top, followed by the shelf, and putting on the wheels on last.Caster installation - instruction needs a little modification...1) Tighten the adjustment ring until black rubber expands slightly....NO!...tighten the adjustment ring until black rubber expands so that it fits snugly inside of the leg....very snugly but still able to install by hand. The rubber needs be tight to the inside of the leg so that when the circular adjustment ring is tightened, friction/resistance between the black rubber and the leg allows the circular adjustment ring to squeeze down on the black rubber, thereby expanding the rubber even further and tightening the caster assembly inside of the leg. Without this rubber to leg resistance, the adjustment ring will continue to spin in place.Would buy again.

Better Than Expected
So a couple prefaces and reasoning for my review and rating ; so I got the 24x48 size table with backsplash. I paid 76.28 for this in April 2025. For whatever reason that was a lot cheaper than the version with the same size with out the backslash. The price was awesome, I couldn't find a used one here in Southern California for that price.I read the reviews and there were comments about difficulty assembling, removing the film as well as scratches and rusting.I just got it today, the assembly wasn't super difficult, I did it myself, I am 50 and fit but not Godzilla and 5'9 155. Was it heavy, yes so if you are not used to moving or aligning heavy pieces you will need help. I would say though heavy, it was easier to assemble that 90% of the Ikea items I have had in life (and I have had a lot). So I wouldn't mark it down for assembly.Regarding the film used to protect it; did take some time to remove it, yes but it wasn't horrible. I just chilled and tried to make it as meditative as possible. Assembly and film removal took like 90 minutes interspersed with a glass of wine.It did come with some scratches, based on the other reviews I was expecting that. Were they horrible, no., it's going to get scratched if you are using anyway. Also considering the price I dont think you can expect something flawless. If I paid $200 for it would I have expected it more flawless. I didnt pay much for it so as a result it's reasonable not to expect perfection.Having said that, it's attractive, seems sturdy, arrived 3 days earlier than promised. It was packaged well. It's day one, I yet cant speak to the comments regarding rusting. I live in the desert in Southern California and it will be used inside, I also plan to keep it clean just using mild dish soap so hopefully that will avoid those issues. The only reason I deducted one star was for the unknown issue yet of rusting/ discoloration mentioned by others. In a few months I will try update the review regarding those issues. Thank you, be well and try not to overthink this purchase.

Sturdy and Durable
I recently got a new small pellet grill for my outdoor cooking adventures, and I needed a sturdy table to hold it. This table is a game-changer! It’s incredibly easy to assemble and has a perfect height for the grill. It holds the grill securely and provides ample space for setting plates and other essentials. Plus, it can withstand the elements and the heat of the pellet grill. It’s a stylish and professional-looking table that I highly recommend.
