Trumpet Vine - Campsis radicans - 2.5" Pot

This plant came potted and in good health. I let it stay in the pot out on the deck and out of direct sunlight for about a week, while I fed and watered it. Then I put it into the garden right next to a 6' high broken sidewalk cement wall and secured a string from the base of the plant to a point on the wall that was about two feet high. It has done very well and is climbing the wall just like this vine is supposed to do. There is a plant fairly close to it that shades its roots a bit, and I would suggest doing that with any plant stock this young.I think its 3rd year will be the one where it really takes off, and I'm looking forward to that. We've had some trumpet vine in a few of our gardens over the years, and I'm glad I found this one at such nice price. Admittedly, I would have bought a bigger and more expensive one, but I live in a city with a metro size of over a half million, and I still could find this plant anywhere! Very happy with this purchase.

This little plant is going to town making nice healthy runners. Not sure it will bloom this year, but it’s starting to look lush, green and promising. I expected a larger plant, but am happy with what I received.

I did not get the trumpet vine I ordered / it was not red...I planted the coral trumpet vine ... it died.😔

I just opened and planted it. It arrived exactly as described in a 2.5" square pot with a nice little 6" vine. The leaves match the same pics for a mature trumper so i assume its the same plant. So, so far so good.

Amazing. The little guy needed a bit of TLC but within days...

very small, not even the size of a dollar bill, not the picture they show, keep looking! A real small small Plant!
