Great pair of front and rear lights (4 total)
These work amazing. I had a tiny issue but not with this order. I have bought these lights previously and they used a USB-C cable which eventually caused my rear light to stop working after a year or so I got these and to replace it and they work great still. Hold a long charge and quite bright. Not to mention they’re pretty decently priced. They’re very easy to use/install and backups of everything basically! Also the previous light that uses a USB-C cable STILL works it was just my rear red light that had an issue and these have worked great on both of my bicycles, both are a Mountain and a Road bike.

Decent Daytime Running Lights -- NOT Suitable for Nighttime Riding Lights!
UPDATE (01/03/2023): I recently purchased a 600 lumen bike light for nighttime riding and can report, with certainty, that the Akale 3-LED front bike light does not provide sufficient illumination for nighttime riding. The difference between 80 lumens and 600 lumens is, literally, night and day. Upon switching to the Akale 80 lumen front light after riding a couple hundred yards with a 600 lumen light, it seemed like I was riding in the dark.ORIGINAL REVIEW: The Akale 3-LED rechargeable bike lights are decent daytime running lights that make a cyclist more visible to motorists, pedestrians and other cyclists while riding in daylight, especially in flash mode. In my opinion, however, the headlight is not nearly bright enough to use as a nighttime riding light in poorly lit to unlit areas, and is only marginally sufficient for nighttime riding in well-lit areas.Based on my research of bike lights, it is my understanding that for use while riding at night in well-lit areas a bike headlight should emit 100 - 200 lumens. In poorly lit to unlit areas, a bike headlight should emit 400 - 800 lumens. For riding on mountain bike trails at night, you should be looking at headlights that emit 1,000+ lumens. I could not find any information about how many lumens are emitted by the Akale headlight. To get some idea, I went into my garage, turned off all the lights, and compared the Akale headlight to a single-LED, 65 lumen pocket flashlight by shining each light on the back of my garage door from a distance of about 12 feet. As shown in the attached photos, the single-LED, 65 lumen pocket flashlight produced a brighter and much whiter light than the Akale 3-LED headlight. See second photo attached. The light produced by the Akale headlight did not appear to be as bright and was very blue. See first photo attached. The Akale headlight looks white when you look at the light, but the light looks blue on a white surface and on asphalt.I tried out the Akale headlight while riding at night on a suburban street. At the brightest setting, I could see the road in front of me for a distance of about 10 yards. The light also looked slightly blue on the asphalt. If I was to find myself on my bike at night in a poorly lit or unlit area a few miles from my destination, the Akale headlight would allow me to get to my destination at a slow to moderate pace. However, I would not want to rely on the Akale headlight if I had to ride more than, say, five miles in a poorly lit or unlit area or at speeds above 12 MPH.The red tail light seems bright enough for use both as a daytime running light and for nighttime riding. As others have commented, the USB charging port on the Akale bike lights is not the easiest to access. Once you open the rubber flap that covers the charging port, you have to hold the rubber flap back or it will flop forward and cover the charging port. Then you need to look at the charging port and micro USB plug to make sure the plug is properly oriented before you attempt to insert it into the charging port. Inserting the micro USB plug into the charging port is somewhat difficult because (1) the finger holding the rubber charging port cover open will be very close to the charging port, and (2) the charging port itself is recessed in the light housing. You pretty much have to push the micro USB plug into the hole in the light housing and hope it goes into the charging port the first time. If not, you have to fish around with the plug and push it until you feel it go into the charging port. This causes me to have some concern about the longevity of the charging port. I would have preferred a USB-C connection for the charging port.Except in an unplanned situation, I intend to use the Akale bike lights exclusively as daytime running lights. I think they will be adequate for that purpose. The price can't be beat. I paid just over $20.00 (including tax) for 2 sets of the Akale bike lights (2 headlights and 2 tail lights). A number of reviewers have expressed concerns about durability and longevity of the silicone mounting straps used to mount the Akale bike lights. Although they come with 6 silicone mounting straps (1 for each light and 2 extra), I purchased a 4-pack of Ascher silicone bike light mounting straps (available on Amazon for $5.99 for a 4-pack ) that are identical to the mounting straps that come with the Akale lights. If you are looking for nighttime riding lights, I don't think you will be happy with the Akale front light. If you are a recreational cyclist looking for daytime running lights, I think the Akale bike lights serve that purpose nicely.

I’m so excited!
I’m charging them up now. My purpose is to clip them onto my wheelchair and feel safer whilst wheeling around my neighborhood which has no sidewalks. Also, I was delighted to see the charging cords. I looked at description many times and couldn’t see if any were included. I own 2 already so it wasn’t an issue.New remark: I am still delighted with these lights. I feel much safer in my wheelchair and spiffy, too. There’s proof of age for you…spiffy….

Simple and Very bright
I like to go on walks with my daughter while she rides her bike. We got caught in the dark a few times and wanted to get some kind of lights on her bike to see in the dark. After some searching the great ether of the amazon found these and decided to get them. I was very pleasnantly surprised on how bright they were. I had to switch them to lower power because they were too bright to oncoming traffic. They worked very well and very pleased. They are easy to install and I have only charged them once and have used them over 10 times and still going.

Bright and Rechargeable
These lights are very bright and have several modes (brighter, dimmer, and two flashing modes). They also came fully charged. The rubber straps are perfect to fit a variety of post/handlebar thicknesses.I've ridden in the rain a handful of times with these on the bike and they appear to hold up very well and are weatherproof.Highly recommended!

Bright daylight blinkers
They're excellent in battery life, bright for daylight but maybe not enough for night rides.
