A lot of plastic, minimal shock absorption
I have never accidentally broken a smartphone screen, but a friend of mine knocked my phone off the table the other day and the tempered glass protector cracked in two places. I have dropped many phones, some as high as 7-8 ft when working, and never had any cracks.The ridges on this case are nearly flush with the screen, and the corners do not seem very resilient.However, it feels good in my hand, doesn't seem too slippery when placed on arm of the couch, and the kickstand is nice to have.Will upgrade to a better case once more become available for the G7.

Moto G7 case
It seems rugged and the case fits BUT the screen glass does not. This is the second product I have ordered that doesn't fit. I was quite certain I ordered the correct product the first time but willing to give the benefit of that order to you and my my mistake. However this time I think the product pieces don't work together. The screen is too small for the case and keeps falling off. The case fits beautifully.
