Cheap and easy!
Simple contraption that makes it easy to make a small batch of coffee with minimal cleanup, no waste, and little fuss. This is not a weighty piece of equipment and there is a very, very faint metallic taste that no one else in my house can discern, but my overly-sensitive palate can detect it. It also works well in a pinch for straining and pressing a cup of loose leaf tea when all the fine strainers are in the washer (ahem). Overall, I recommend it for a low-coffee consumption household looking to cut waste, avoid plastic, and avoid the more fragile-but-expensive pieces of brewing equipment. You’ll find this cheaper in a local China market, but they generally don’t deliver to your door.

Filter
Compare with my 8oz double wall mug, it doesn’t look like 8oz filter. Water drip so fast on the first try.
