Great invention Grandpa Witmer!
Yes, I shelled out $19 for a peanut butter crank….SO glad I did! It works wonderfully on Trader Joe’s peanut butter and almond butter. The 300 is what you need (cap is a perfect fit) if you are a Trader Joe’s fan—-they make the BEST crunchy almond butter for protein balls! I HATE mixing almond and peanut butter….it’s a pain and it is messy. But not with Grandpa Witmer’s! You need to use a little elbow grease at first, but it does a great job, the cap fits tightly and yes the mixing wand comes out clean. Love it. Buy it!

Finally worked after years of not fitting….
Just like all the other customers have stated this does not fit the national brand jar of peanut butter that most people are buying it for. I bought this years ago and it has sat in the drawer until today. When I went to make peanut butter bananas, and realized that I had a jar in the dish rack that appeared to be the size neck needed for this tool. I scooped the separated peanut butter into the appropriate jar and it stirred up easily in about 20 seconds. Zero points for ease of use in the real world. Ten points for working well after looking for too long and finally finding the right vessel.

WORKS AS ADVERTISED
Works very well to mix the oils in natural peanut butter. Suggestion the future buyers: they make several sizes of these to fit various size jars. Measure the inside diameter of your PB jar and order the appropriate size from the maker. Now when the mixing is done, you can remove the mixing lid and clean it, placing the original lid on the jar. Or, return the mixing lid to the jar and use it for future use. Overall a very useful tool.

Simple, Best Solution for Peanut Butter Aficionados
Simple technology for a persistently annoying, time consuming and messy challenge that has existed since the invention of peanut butter. No Silicon Valley required, just cut-to-the-chase human ingenuity. Highly recommended.

Horribly ineffective
This isn’t the only peanut butter stirrer I own, but it is definitely the worst. If you want partially stirred peanut butter, this is the device for you. It struggles mainly because there isn’t enough “agitation.” It is just a curved stick with not enough movement in the middle of the jar. To those who bought the wrong size, that’s on you - though the mfgr doesn’t make it easy to find the right one. A knife, spoon or chopstick is more effective than this junk.

Check the size of your jar cover.
The cover didn't fit. It was too small. Check the size of your lid before you buy it.

If it fits, it's perfect. If it doesn't fit it might help.
Well, this kind of works for me so I gave it five stars. The reason it only kind of works is that this relies 100% on the lid fitting your jar. If the lid doesn't fit then it is extremely hard to use. In my case the lid is exactly the wrong size. It fits over the top but it won't screw on so with enough elbow grace, you can hold the lid in place and turn the crank and get most of the peanut butter mixed. Because the lid doesn't quite fit the bottom of the wire doesn't reach the bottom of the jar so you miss the last half inch of peanut butter. Even this way though, it's still the easiest way to mix peanut butter that I found. I have tried using one of those handheld mixers but unfortunately peanut butter jars are so full and that trying to get one of those into the peanut butter jar just ends up pushing half the peanut butter out so those do not work for me. In the meantime, this, even though it doesn't fit, still works better than just a spoon. I wish I didn't love the peanut butter that I do that requires mixing.
