Paired with both my phone and Garmin Fenix watch easily. The only thing that I am unsure of is if you need to pull the battery after use since there is not an on off switch.UPDATE after first use: The cadence worked great for the first 10 miles but I am very disappointed as the rubber connector broke and fell of somewhere on the trip. The unit was lost it on my first ride. I am hoping that the seller is reading this and that there is something that they can do for me.

Wasn't able to use it. Never got it to sync. Note I am an electrical Engineer who works in a lab testing electronics.

I bought this to use as a cadence sensor on an inexpensive indoor exercycle. After putting it in to cadence mode, it paired easily with my iPhone and Garmin Vivoactive 3 smartwatch. I use the Wahoo Fitness App to get real time cadence and heart rate data. When I first installed this on my left crankarm, I was getting flakey readings that were bouncing all over the place. I moved it to the right crankarm and it immediately gave me good, consistent readings. Maybe the magnetic drive of the exercycle was affecting it, or it had something to do with orientation. If you are experiencing flakey readings, don't give up. Try moving it.

I installed this wrong the first time. I want to use it as a cadence sensor. So read the directions and set it up right but never used it before I moved it to a second bike because my Garmin stopped working. Hasn't worked at all on the 2nd bike so I need to verify set up and battery but it has only been a couple of months since I bought it. So I give it 3 stars because of the great value and at least it looks like a cadence sensor even if it doesn't work

I attempted to use this product with my MapMyRun app on my iPhone. It worked in speed mode, but my app would not connect the device in cadence mode. I returned the product through Amazon, but it took the third party vendor 3 weeks to credit my account. I’m used to Amazon’s typical first class products and services. Not this kind.

Haven't had it that long. Nice addition at a cheaper price than the big name brands. I use it for cadence to try to keep a steady pace. The battery didn't last as long as it should, but swapped it out and got it back working. Connects right up with my Garmin GPS.

The rubber bands they give you broke withing a month. I ended uo taping it to the stem it was a good thing i did because the other band broke shortly after. The product works great

Works well to record my rides and hasn't lost signal with my phone yet. Bluetooth functions were easy to set up and were supported by my bike app. I literally had this up and going in 5 minutes. I used mine on the front wheel to record my distance. Plan on purchasing a second one for the pedal if you want to record cadence.
