Very basic and not a good build
I was looking for a way to make saving money fun for my nephews and this was what amazon had to offer. My nephew is 7 years old and this was a good present for his birthday. He loves it and can’t stop putting money into it. The whole point of this present was to show him the principles of how to save money and keep it safe. The machine comes with a plastic thick card. You use it enter a pin and deposit/withdraw money. The machine will take in the money and you will have to enter how much you put in. It will show you total at the end.The problems we faced. The setup is confusing and sometimes I had to play around to understand what I’m doing. Manual is okay but not the best. After setting the pin, I have then picked up the machine and placed into the my nephews room. As I put it down the batteries in the machines came out and the whole machine turned off. To my surprise we had to start the whole setup again. After looking into this I have found out that whenever you change batteries you have to set the machine up again. My nephew has lost interest now because no one changed the batteries and he knows he has to do the setup again.Another problem was you could place any card in the card slot and the machine would work as normal. The machine won’t keep your money safe. I just need put a piece of paper in the slot and guess a number and I would be in.finally the machine isn’t that well made. I picked the machine up and by accident while placing on the worktop the cash draw opened. So there is a chance of it opening if hit.I wouldn’t recommend this. For the money not worth it. Good idea but Too many flaws

Pretty Good Savings Bank, For A Toy
I got this as an adult because out of all of the ones available this looked less like a toy.But as it can also handle notes it was better than a coin counting bottle.PROS*Built well, looks good.*Does manage the balance well once you get used to it.*For parents this would be great for kids to teach them how to save. Even as an adult I found I am saving more than I usually do.*Can recognise all UK mainland coins*Can hold a lot in notes and coinsCONS*If you place a coin in the machine without using the card and pin first it will reset everything including the balance. You then have to empty the machine, setup your ID and pin then enter everything in again. They should block the coin slot when you take out the card.*If you enter the coins too fast it resets the electronics. And if it's half full you have to start all over again. I ended up putting in £20 in coins at a time, taking out the card then later repeating the process. They should add a feature in the electronics where you can edit the balance. So if you know how much you have already you can put it all in.*No wall or USB power connector. So when the batteries are dead you have lost the balance. This means you have to empty it out before the batteries die so you dont lose track of how much you have in there.*A note got stuck in the roller when it was almost full and did not give me a chance to enter an ammount.I had to make a withdrawal get the note out and then make space then tried it again.CONCLUSIONA great toy for kids as it has the most common features as well as the asthetic of a real cash machine. And it does also help to encourage saving. As an adult this was better than a juice bottle and to be honest better than the coin counters I've seen as they cant take notes. And although the electronics are a little sketchy once I got used to them I found a way to work around most problems.

Brilliant.
I've bought three of these for my grandchildren and they are excellent. They love using their bank card and putting their pin in and choosing which service they require ! Balance, withdrawal, deposit with the notes being taken just like a real ATM and the machine will even keep a total of the money inside ! Its a really good way to encourage saving. Thoroughly recommend.

ATM bank
Great teacher for kids to learn how to use an atm and save money. A bit disappointed with the lid where you take the money out as it broke in the first week. But the machine is still in use although the lid is not secure.
