This is my second time purchasing this lightbulb for my RAV4. It is so easy to do the change myself, and it is quite long lasting. The driver side light hasn’t needed to be replaced it’s been two years now if not more. I purchased again to replace the passenger side this time.

I just received a pair of these this afternoon for my 2014 RAV4. They look to be the same as the original ones I'm replacing (both are burned out). An OEM replacement for this price is remarkable. I'm including a picture of the name plate information on both this replacement bulb and the original. There's almost no difference. The part number on the originals was HB3 U 2005 L+. The number on these replacements is HB3 U 2005 LL. All other descriptive nomenclature is identical.It's raining in Houston today so I can't install them but if I encounter any issues, I'll update this review.In case you're confused about how this one bulb can serve as a bright high-beam head light and low intensity daytime running light, it spun my head around. On a RAV4 these bulbs with only one filament serve as both high-beam headlights and daytime running lights. How can one filament be both very bright and low intensity you say -- or at least that's what I wondered. The answer: When acting as running lights, both filaments are connected in series, so the supply voltage is split between the two bulbs making the light they create dimmer (each filament operates on one-half the supply voltage). The high-beams aren't in series -- the single filament gets the entire supply voltage, making it much brighter. Of course, this means when one running light burns out the circuit is broken so both running lights go dark. To me this is a strange way to do it but it is what is is. By the way, this also means if one high beam is working you only need to replace the other bulb.
