I have used many brands of eye makeup remover. This is the best one for non-water proof mascara & eye shadow. I have never found any eye makeup remover to take off all of my mascara and eye shadow is “one sweep” and don’t know why some manufacturers advertise this. This one takes it all off when applied with a moistened cotton pad and swiped over my eyes until gone. It’s non-oily which is important to me & does not tug at my eyes & it does not sting. I don’t lose any eye lashes, it’s very gentle. I do wash my face after using it, but I don’t find any more eye makeup coming off. This gets the job done! My only complaint is that the price has gone up quite a bit! Nevertheless, I’ll keep using it until there is something better.

Works great to remove my waterproof mascara and all day lip stick.Just put a puddle in my palm use finger to massage into my eye lashes and my lips, rub off with a wet washcloth and wella!! Done!

I just had cataract surgery on both eyes and was looking for a mascara remover that was not oily. I’ve only used it twice - once with a cotton ball and once with a Kleenex. The cotton ball left too much cotton residue, the Kleenex was better. So far I think it’s going to be good and not too oily!

I've been buying this for years, but stopped wearing eye make-up during the first half of our pandemic. However, there've been more and more meetings -- almost daily -- so I'm putting on eye make-up for daytime meetings, and just can't stand going to bed with that still on me, so Maybelline Eye Makeup Remover does the trick for me. As an aside, not even a week ago, as I was applying eyeliner, there was a sharp jolt, and I obviously jumped, so got a bit of eyeliner below my eyelashes -- on the underside of my upper eyelid. Agh! I kept holding up my eyelid... then grabbed a QTip, along with my eye makeup remover, and took one helluva chance. I lightly dampened the tip of the QTip, then nervously kind of tapped it onto the eyeliner. Took the other end of my QTip and did the same thing again. Grabbed a second QTip and -- still holding onto my eyelid -- wiped away the eyeliner!!!! I DID it! But far more "miraculously," if you will... not a speck was left behind and so, when I slowly let go of my eyelid, there was absolutely NO PAIN from the Maybelline eye makeup remover!!! Yes, I KNOW I took a chance, but if they made something like this to remove makeup from one's eyes, then surely they needed to make sure the product would not/could not cause damage to a person's eye, right? Okay, so all's well, but I removed the eyeliner from my other eye and attended my next meeting sans eyeliner, and just some eye shadow. Whew! This product really DOES work!

It’s getting harder to find waterproof eye makeup remover since the trend has moved away from waterproof mascara.I can’t stand washable mascara because it runs in the rain, or when you swim, or if you cry, or if you get something in your eye! I’ve only ever worn waterproof mascara and I can’t figure out why other people don’t, except I’ve heard people say they don’t know how to take it off.Well, there are makeup removers.The main ingredient in this product is mineral oil. You don’t even have to buy an oil-based makeup remover, per se. You can use natural oils that are safe for your eyes instead—my mom has always used peanut oil to her remove her waterproof mascara. Oils also help moisturize your lashes. I like this Maybelline product because it has a thinner consistency than other oils so I find it easy to use.There have been a couple of times when I’ve run out of this and a store is sold out or doesn’t carry it so I purchased another brand of so-called waterproof eye makeup removers instead and none of them worked. This is THE product I’ve used for over 20 years because it’s the one that works.TIP: I always put this remover into an empty Visine or Clear Eyes bottle. That makes it easier for me to squeeze the right amount on to a facial tissue to use, and the bottles are obviously safe for my eyes because they were designed for an eye product. Perfect!

This product is the best ever eye make up remover, with its oily moisturizer, that I have ever encountered and I am very disappointed Maybelline have discontinued making it.
