High Quality without the high price tag
I first saw this bag at a local store after browsing four other stores for a decent laptop case. I found that there are many decent bags out there for decent prices, but I couldn't bring myself to just settle for mediocre. My problem was that I also had a budget in mind. This left me usually with options that I could trade off for one another, but not receive all at once. I could get spacious, but not very protective, protective but not very good looking, good looking, but neither spacious nor very protective.I want to point out that I don't carry a huge amount of accessories with me like many full time travelers. I just recently purchased an HP Ultrabook, which is very thin and lacked an optical drive. With that in mind, I needed something to keep it snug and protected, while still maintaining enough space for an external HDD, external optical drive, travel power adapter, a few USB flash drives, various cables (HDMI, micro USB), earbud case, phone charger, wireless mouse, and 10" tablet.Slim cases simply didn't carry enough space for the accessories while messenger bags just didn't offer the rugged protection I was looking to provide (they also wouldn't hold an ultrabook in place very well). Double gusset cases were simply too bulky, and any other cases easily jumped over the $100 threshold ($1200 was the highest I had come across).Enter the Wenger Swissgear Insight. I was immediately impressed by the design. The exterior was made of a tough, well stitched material with leather trim. It had tasteful red accents, a tough yet ergonomic rubber handle, solid shoulder strap, and had high quality metal Wenger zippers. The inside was generously padded and included a checkpoint friendly design. There are numerous accessory pockets inside the main compartment and the secondary compartment, while still having a front small zippered pocket. The main compartment comes with an adjustable velcro-fastened padded strap to help protect the laptop, along with an additional velcro strap to fasten the laptop securely into the main compartment. Even with its thin dimensions, my Ultrabook fastened securely leaving me without worries of it bouncing around when being transported. The front side of the main compartment has two wide pockets ideally suited for items akin to external optical drives, and also has a sleeve area for files or a tablet. The secondary compartment has space for ID's, cards, flash drives, cell phones, external hard drives, power adapters, and any cords you may have. There is also a nifty key ring. On top of this, the bag has a front zippered pocket for smaller, slimmer items you may want to take along. Everything is made of high quality material and the label inserts assured me that this case carries Wenger's limited lifetime warranty. My local store carried it for $54.99, and Amazon carried for $20 cheaper. Needless to say, I could not resist the deal. This is by all means an excellent carry case, and the build and design exceeds most other laptop cases which often carried far greater price tags. Do yourself a favor and save the cash while having peace of mind carrying your laptop along to your favorite spots.

Excellent Case! Great value!
This is an outstanding case for storing and carrying my new laptop! Even has room for my peripherals and tablet! Includes shoulder strap and external strap to put over wheeled luggage handle.

Excellent
I'm seeing these everywhere now. It's held up great in the first 3 months--through a harsh NE winter commuting and regular air travel. The front pocket could use a small pull-tab to open as it's harder to grab/pull open than it should be. The laptop is extremely well protected.Don't plan on putting too much into the main laptop area as it will not deform/stretch too much. So if you're like me an only use the bag for a laptop about 1/3 of the time--and the rest use it as a day to day briefcase, make sure that will fit your needs. If you're a brown bagger, you could toss a can or two of soda in here but things much wider won't fit easily. Same goes for a textbook or very large hardcover. The strap itself is functional--it occasionally twists a bit and could be a bit more comfortable as well, but that alone doesn't push this to 4 stars.5 stars for overall value, craftsmanship, sturdiness, and strong design.

Good Quality Bag
This is a good value. Its not as roomy as some of nicest Dell bags. But the quality is good and serves the purpose. It has some storage compartments but not a lot cubic space to play with comfortably. It feels a bit tightly loaded when you pack it with some accessories. But it does the trick. I'm not disappointed by any means.

Quality as I expect
Returned as it was too small for a 15" laptop and a lot of folders. Great bag and zippers are seamless!

excellent laptop case, especially for the money
The fit and finish of this case is just like my SwissGear suit case. Stitches are perfect, the zippers and clasps are the highest quality. Plenty of pockets and storage in this case, and everything related to my laptop, mouse, charger and computer software cables and accessories all have a nice, neat place inside. I haven't a single negative comment to make about it. If you have a 17" widescreen laptop, it will fit with room to spare on the end. I wouldn't hesitate buying this case again.

Not Swiss gear quality/not worth the price.
I have been a fan of Wenger/Swiss gear for decades, as i had a previous computer shoulder bag that had provided me nearly 20 years of daily use in travel, and work activities, it was literally becoming tread bare. I decided that because of such a durable product that i would again purchase the similar product and brand even if it cost more than a generic of similar size and function. I believed it would provide to me the same use and i am highly disappointed. I received the bag mid February and have used it lighter than the previous and the shoulder strap adjustment buckle brock, the zippers are not holding up and have started to mis align in just under 2.5 months of light use. I would expect zipper failure if they were overextended but they have not been. VERY disappointed for having spent over $100.00 for the case, it is definitely not the quality that i would expect for the name and the price. Otherwise, i love the size, the features the feel and the comfort, but i am beyond disappointed with the quality.

It's main good points are
It's main good points are:- the strap is sewed on and is very durable quality construction- the handle also has quality durable design- it's fairly thick to store various things.Other points:- the design is so the laptop sits in the open flap, so you just zip it in half and the laptop is only on the one side. That could be convenient for airports, but when I went through international airports, they demanded I take the laptop out, so this design didn't offer much in those situations although removing the laptop was easy enough. There are many little pouches on the front half, but they are quite small, so if you have big things besides the laptop they just all go in the middle area. The pouches didn't match my stuff well. Overall the main compartment area is 3" wide and nothing more. It won't bulge much.
