Love the feel of these, so substantial and so smooooth. the ink doesn't dry as fast as i'd wish, but that's no reason not to LOVE these pens. FAV

Great pen

I cannot believe that no one is talking about this. The pens are great, and would be a great value, but you need to be prepared to spend money on new refills. So, add about $5 to your order to get refills (if you can find the right ones). At that point, you may as well get the higher end Sarasa Grand which already comes with those refills. (JF-05 from Japan).Let me state that I am an experienced pen owner, including high end fountain pens. There is not much in the pen world that I haven’t seen and owned. This pen has great weight, nice balance, but I cannot separate the disaster that is this pen refill from the pen. If I wanted to use it empty, it would be a great pen!From day one, the ink has either gone dry every 3 sentences, or gushed. No in between. Drove me crazy. Then, I was writing in my planner, and a drop of water from my hand happened to drip on the page. Check out the photo. A muddy mess which bled through the paper, and ruined the next page as well. So, I wet the rest of the inks on the page. The Uni ink and the Sarasa/zebra .05 had no issues (from the higher end Sarasa Grand pen). Just this garbage refill. Then, I wrote a full memo pad page with this pen, let it sit, and ran it under water. The entire page… Washed Off!So, I took a better look at the refill. This is a Zebra refill, made in Mexico. I have a lot of Zebra pens, and this is a first! But, if it is going to be branded as a Sarasa grand pen, customers should expect better than this! I have seen enough gloss over comments about this ink not being great, but for me, it’s a package deal. Pens are supposed to write, and not like this one.So, now you know: you may need to be chasing down replacement refills from the beginning. Factor that into your purchase. These are going back, and I am going to get another of the higher end Sarasa Grand which write beautifully.And, the seller: Zbeem? Their customer service extension doesn’t work… I’ll be talking to Amazon about that as well.

The ink on the Sarasa Grand flows smoothly and with no skips. The fast drying ink makes this pen a left hander’s best friend.

Look, feel, and smooth writing are top notch. Bought as gifts and came in an envelope with some of the packaging a bit bent up. Arrival condition lost a star, pens are great!

I purchased this pen for myself and found that I needed to buy many more due to everyone using mine wants one of their own! Hands down one of the best pens you will ever write with. Very smooth and bold ink.
