Very heavy duty parts, great price! We would have spent the same amount for just the door brackets at local farm store. We ordered the 16ft rail, each of the doors are a little over 4 ft. We didn't feel the need for 3rd bracket on ea as another review had stated. The track needs a little coaxing through the mounting brackets and I was able to do this myself. Put the brackets on before. We put the center bracket up loosely (it's 2 pieces) so it was just in place and then tightened it down when the rails were in place. We had to do some retro fitting when we were ready to hang the doors. In hindsight we should have mounted a piece of wood for the track, but since we have reverse batten rough cut 1x12's above the door we thought it would clear. What hit on the backside were the screws that go through the door on the brackets, and the top plate was a little wider on the top of the doors so it scraped along the wood as well. We tried cutting the protruding screws off just above the nut but it was still catching on the bracket. We ended up cutting the the wood below the track and it was fine. We also removed the cracked cement that was in front of the shed and filled it with some leftover gravel we had. This shed is over 100 yr old and my husband's grandfather built it so some settling and one of the doors is a little skewed. They were originally hinged and opened in the center, remained propped open all summer. One of the hinges broke off the building a week ago so we did this configuration instead. Winter is coming soon and we'll be building new doors in the spring. For now this will keep the snow out. Happy with how it turned out! We have a lot of tools and instead of an adjustable wrench we used our socket set which made it go a lot faster. My husband and I did this together, an extra pair of hands is needed. I bought two of these kits. All the parts were there, and everything needed for two doors with each kit. Easily support 4x6 ft doors made from 2x4s and siding.

I was impressed by the kit. But a few words of warning. The kit is designed for a two inch thick door. If your door is 1 1/2" thick like mine and you have trim on the sides of the door the same thickness as the header then the top brackets will have to be modified or they will hit the side trim. Also, the bolts that mount the bracket to the door will have to be turned around so the don't hit either. Instruction sheet was adequate but not to hard to figure out. Overall I think this is a good kit.

Seems pretty heavy duty. Only time will tell how it holds up

We got this to have a door that we can open and close with ease without shoveling snow for a door to swing open. We are using it on a lamb shelter. It looks great and works great also.

Love this product, easy to install and works great. My only negative it that I would like to find some additional parts for the rail system.

This was a great find. Have a low ceiling in my hallway, and this allowed for a sliding door for our pantry. Directions were a bit hard to follow, but a really simple design. When mounting your brackets on the door, make sure the end and the bolt face the outside. The bolts are too long to go the way the directions specify and will hit your wall. The wife spray painted it black to give it a more modern look.

Great outdoor barn door rails!!! Painted the tracks oil brushed bronze. They turned out great!!!

Works ok but needs a third bracket to support a door wider than 36”. I inquired on the price of an extra bracket and the seller is gouging. Should include 3 brackets in the box by default. Not recommended if you have a door wider than 36”.
