DFM Lumber Gauge and Bottle Opener made from Stainless Steel

I had high hopes on this. Planned to to give to my son as a gift, but couldn’t bring myself to do it. First it arrived literally months late. Also based on the caliber of the shop it’s coming from I was looking forward to a small taste of their quality. Well, the arm on the end is guaranteed to tear up any pant pocket it finds itself in. Further the printed sizes don’t line up to the steps in the tool. So not a great reflection on what I believe to be some very reputable people. Just don’t expect much here though... I’ve had no interaction with the company and still I’m defending them. I don’t know that I’ll put good money after bad, but if that was a warning, I got off cheap. Sorry guys. Just being honest.

I mainly use this as a bottle opener, but it's definitely accurate for the stepped heights. The stainless steel is quite thick, so it won't break easily. It is small, so it's perfect to stow away just about anywhere.

I needed a larger item on my key chain to keep me from misplacing my keys. I really like DFM Tool Works. It has been a cool tool to have with me on my key chain.

This little tool makes it easier to gauge the thickness fast and simple. It also easier to carry around then a tape measure. Also has a bottle opener.

Love how it feels and looks. Plus if I need a break it also has a bottle opener built in. The edges are clean and smooth with the makers logo nicely engraved on it.
