TimexMen's Expedition Metal Field Watch

It's become my daily wear.For the price, it's a great watch. Indiglo is great. Easy to set the time. Watch strap is super comfortable. Size and thickness is perfect for my 7.25"-7.5" wrist. Can hear some ticking if you are in a quiet room and have the watch nearby, but nothing that bothers me. Don't plan to take it swimming, so not sure on water resistance.

Has light up dial.

I have other watches very expensive are some. But I am a Timex guy. Nothing works great and looks good like a timex. I was very impressed with the product and the price. Definitely was very fast And free. The watch is working and is brand new. I am very excited about my new timex Expedition.

My 40 year old Timex Expedition was accidentally damaged by me (don't ask..) a few months ago.. I loved that little watch which had been all over the world with me. As it had more than proven to be a workhorse, I decided to replace it with a newer version... Got on Amazon and this one was the closest to it in size and features although the new version doesn't show what day of the week. I miss that feature.I've had this new version a few months now.. I like the look and the slightly larger size.. Very classy without being ostentatious. What I don't like is... 1.. The hands on the watch are almost the same color as the background meaning it's hard to read.. There's no "glancing" at it for the quick time. You have to twist and turn your wrist to get the exact correct lighting to see the hands.. What was the design team thinking? Also... the date and day on my old Expedition was easier to set than the new one.. Not sure why that is, but it is an issue you have to deal with from time to time.. Would I buy the watch again? Probably because I don't like the other versions. It's worth the cost. but IMHO.. they should fire the designer who chose almost the same color for the hands as the background..

Timex keeps on ticking. Good price and accurate.

Couldn't resist the price on what I consider a beautiful good looking watch! The leather watchband is fantastic, whole package is great BUT, knowing this going in,not much contrast between dial and hands. If you're in good light it seems o.k. but when it gets a little dim it sucks! I'm in love with it anyway! UPDATE: Returnef

Love this watch after receiving it. Like the light when you press the winding screw. Need to see at night though. Simple with military time too and date. Just gorgeous I would say.

I've had this a few years now. Still works. Haven't changed the battery yet.
