Clarks children's shoes have 5 principles - CREATIVE: Because less is more For over 70 years, we've been researching the biomechanics of children's feet. Therefore, we know exactly what they need for natural growth and development. Our shoes combine innovative craftsmanship with a clear design. They consist only of the elements that are necessary to support a healthy foot development. No more. Not less. STABLE: Stability and Balance Our brain receives 70% of the information from the 200,000 nerve endings in our soles. Fascinating, right? For this reason, our shoes allow maximum ground contact for optimum balance and stability. Unnecessary damping can impair the sensory connection to the ground. That's why we use cushioning only when it improves the performance of the feet. TAILOR-MADE: Unbeatable comfort Properly fitting shoes provide the feet with the necessary freedom for natural growth and development. The basis of every Clarks shoe is a hand-formed wooden strip. In this way we take into account the adaptation to the natural shape of the foot in every style: our shoes are so flexible and flexible that they follow every movement of growing feet and provide lasting comfort for the long-term. Our expert consultants in the shops help you to find the ideal shoe for your child. EASY: freedom of movement We design shoes that offer greater freedom of movement through greater comfort. The lighter the shoe, the more natural the movement. That's logical, right? A lighter shoe requires less energy for movement. Our shoes combine innovative technologies with soft, lightweight materials. This gives children the freedom to move naturally. FLEXIBLE: Natural Movements Walking, running, climbing, jumping - no matter how a child wants to move, our shoes adapt. Totally natural. From our textiles and leathers to the advanced cushioning technologies in our lightweight soles,

Great for school.
Second year I have purchased these as school shoes for my teenage son. They are well made, smart, apparently very comfortable and a wide fit. Even after an entire year the last pair still polished up nicely and although they obviously showed signs of wear and tear (and had indeed been used regularly to play football in!!!) were perfectly good for school. Also managed to get them cheaper than in-store which is, of course, a bonus!!

Great shoes.
The size and width were absolutely spot on. The leather uppers and the soles are sturdy but supple enough to be worn without 'wearing in'. Very pleased and would buy again.

Quality and solid suitable for teenager school footwear
Always trusted this brand as fitting is accurate, long lasting material used. Great for the price and lasts longer than getting a cheaper version

Excellent quality shoes
Exactly what is expected of Clarks. Hard wearing, strong shoes.

Don’t wear as well as shop bought
Not entirely sure if they’re meant to be the same quality as the shop version - but they have worn quite quickly on my son (6months) who isn’t a rough user (not into football etc)
