Yeah, these are nice little cotton buds. They do the job well, are sturdy, and have a normal amount of cotton on each end. What I really LOVE is that they're made with a bamboo stick (not plastic!) and are boxed in a biodegradable cardboard box. Perfect product for taking yet another small step toward a more sustainable lifestyle. One downside is they're made in China. It's hard to quantify the tradeoff on the carbon footprint for shipping overseas, but perhaps the popularity of this item will inspire local makers to produce and package their items in a more environmentally friendly manner. At this time, I would say that more plastic is worse for the world than more CO2, since EVERY piece of plastic EVER produced is still here, and CO2 can be mitigated if we all work to do that, so I'm on board with this product's tradeoff.

Bamboo products are the best

These are eco friendly which is the exact reason I bought them. They do the job and I have no complaints.

If, like me, you are tired of paper sticks that are already bending just getting them out of the package, buy these instead. Yes, they are a little more money. Yes, they are worth it. As long as these are available, I have bought my last Q-Tip.

The bamboo sticks break super easy. Can't put hardly any pressure on these. They do absorb well though.

I've ordered twice and only one has broken on me when I used too much force. They work well, doesn't feel like you're stabbing your ear. I'm setting up auto-ship soon.

Look, Q-Tip can't be beat. It has the most cotton. However, for something that's sustainable and biodegradable, I'll pay a hair more and accept a little less. These are fine. I've had one bamboo handle snap on me, but I was putting a bit of pressure on it and the same paper stick would have bent.They do NOT have as much cotton on the heads. And yes, I use them to clean my ears. I've been doing it for years, I'm very, very careful and only do it after showers when everything is nice a warmed up. They are still nice an absorbent and I like that they are eco-friendly.
