5 Instrument Guitar Stand/Display Rack

This guitar stand was very easy to assemble. It came with clear instructions and was put together in about 10 minutes. It's very sturdy. I gave it 4 stars because I thought it would be at a 90 degree angle but it leans back slightly. To keep the heads off the wall I have to pull it out from the wall a bit more than I had planned. Overall this is a really good product, especially for the price.

I had my eye on another stand from a brand with which I was familiar. Saw this one that holds 2 more of my guitars and was $30+ less so...why not try it?Mine came with no parts list or instructions. With some of the other reviews saying they had problems with assembly, I was worried. I unpacked all of the parts and gave them a close look. It seemed fairly straight forward and I had the photos from the Amazon page so. I went for it.It was completely together and holding three of my axes within 20 minutes. The only real possible problems were which screws to use on what part. However, 2 of the screws/bolts came with wingnuts while the other 8 had a plastic hand-turn cap. I found it pretty intuitive that the wing nut bolts went on the hinge bar mount (two holes for screws) while the capped screws mounted the bars for the guitar rest to the frame (8 holes for screws). The top and bottom guitar rest bar had the foam cushions already in place, and the separator pegs were just metal pegs with threads on one end and foam coverings with plastic caps on the other. Pretty simple.As far as sturdiness; I know there are a lot more sturdy stands on the market (and I have owned many over 45 years [some of the single guitar stands I still have. lol]). My needs do not include any packing, travel, or stage use so it is plenty sturdy. The better units are much more expensive and, in my opinion, if you take care not to drop it, stand on it, or throw it around, this will work just fine as a rack for most uses. It is perfect for use as a home-stand for practice-room, home studio, or just to keep multiple guitar types within reach wherever you play often.As the price of this stand was half of what I was going to pay for a stand that held 2 fewer guitars, I find that it is a very good value for now with no expectations of problems in my usage needs. I gave it 4 of 5 stars for value as to avoid giving the wrong impression to someone that needs a sturdy road-use stand and/or doesn't mind paying for a sturdier model.I hope this helps you out.

Very wobbly, foam covers completely fall off. Not sturdy. I returned it because my guitars are too valuable to be this vulnerable.

All and all...I am pleased with this guitar organizer. Out of the box there was no instructions. Packing was pretty good. I had to view a photo of this product online to figure out how to assemble it due to not having any instructions packaged with the product. One of the thumbscrew threads came a bit stripped on the beginning threads and I didn't want to try and force it into one of the threaded holes as it would have damaged them too. I plan on reaching out to the seller for a replacement thumbscrew. I purchased the item for our Wii Guitars, and works good for them.
