MOOGCK80942 Front Upper Suspension Control Arm and Ball Joint Assembly for Chevrolet Silverado 1500

These are some nice control arms, & No missing hardware!Im doing an almost complete front end suspension & steering rebuild and decided to go with moog. I've gotten cheap parts before and I was always back in there replacing stuff about two years later. Hope these last a bit longer!

These are great control arms and an important point is that they have a grease zerk on them. They fit my '06 Silverado perfectly. One minor issue is that there was a small nick in the rubber boot on one of the arms when they arrived. The box wasn't too roughed up from shipping so I can only assume that the nick had have occurred prior to leaving the factory. Other than that I have no complaints. The product includes castle nut, cotter pin, and grease zerk.

Seriously i dont think ive ever gotten a upper control arm that looks like this from advanced auto or amazon before.... They were the RK version not the CK but theses things are stout, strong and the bushings are thicker and meatier. Just releaved too have a real moog problem solver part for once n not some Chinese/Mexico knock off

This is the second upper control arm that replaced the first control arm that leaked grease at the spring retainer ring that holds the rubber boot to ball joint.I ordered three total of these Moog upper control arm All Three leak grease at the spring retainer ring where rubber boot is supposed to seal the grease.Some will say I put to much gease, but I only used three pumps of a manual hand grease gun.Moog parts used to be very reliable but not anymore.

All Moog suspension products are great quality and seem to fit perfectly. They were worth every penny.

Perfect Fit and Part for a 2005 Chevrolet Silverado, ext cab, 4x4. No issues with it going on or the operation of it. Over the last 2-3 months i have redone my entire front end suspension with all MOOG Parts. This is another part I would highly recommend from them....plus you can't beat the price!

A high quality part, fairly easy installation, verify you have the right size wrenches before you start this project.

I purchased these upper control arms for my truck and I waited until I had all the parts to my frontend before installing them. Once I installed them everything was going good until it was time to fill the ball joint with grease. As I was filling them about half way full the grease started oozing out through a pin hole in the boot and the passenger side hole was slightly bigger because it was oozing out a lot more. The part itself is well made but they need to do something about the boots. Now do to the fact that I waited until the other parts to come in, I'm outside of the return window and have no way to get them replaced.

Great part and when I bought it, the price was under $80. Works great on 2004 GMC Yukon xl
