MizunoMen's Wave Horizon 3 Running Shoe

So if you are like me you've found a lot of the classic running shoe compamies have given up, sold out, or been changed to a pale shadow of their former selves. Not caring for Nikes... My experience is Asics (I was a loyal kayano and trabucco for trail customer for years) - are now all over the place quality wise from Wal Mart level to just ok. Brooks is hit and miss with both quality and durability. Don't want to pay just for the Nike name on just ok sneakers. So sick of endless reviews written by people who don't run, and wear ther "running shoes" just doing their job. Came across these in my searching and took a chance as I remembered the name as a legit brand for years.They came yesterday, great quality and attention to detail. A real pair of actual quality running sneakers. Took out for a 5k... nice cushioning and a little support. Better for me than the last kayanos and ravennas I got right out of the box and with the stock insoles. So used to needing to add my own with the cheap one's asics and brooks give you. Suffice to say, like the last guardians of sneaker jedis, Mizuno is still making quality RUNNING shoes. I'll be supporting them.

Some of the best shoes I have tried. They remind me of the Brooks Beast, and work well for Clydesdales, or heavier guys. They offer excellent support, for overpronators, flat footed people, just someone who wants arch support, or just bigger boned men. They are not as durable as Nike, or Brooks, but are definitely performing at the same level. After a while chunks of the rubber on the bottom becomes separated, but I do use them a lot. I would say they are worth repurchasing, but the Brooks Beast is not, because the price difference. These are a better value than Nike or Brooks. If you just need shoes for a season, go with these.

I walk three miles most days.For years, I have been wearing Asics walking shoes with Good Feet inserts. And while they felt OK, I noticed lately that they were causing my toes to scrunch together because the inserts were pushing them forward.I took the problem to the local Pacers store and a terrific salesman suggested these instead because they have the arch support insert inside. It's been two months and they are comfortable and don't scrunch my toes.They also seem to have better workmanship than the Asics.So I just bought a second pair to alternate.

I'm flat footed with my foot width being right between medium and wide widths. My normal size for most shoes is 11.5. These fit true to size and had a little more width than most shoes but I appreciated that. Very comfortable and supportive. Stiff sole but not so much that it fatigued your feet. I thought they were wonderful for my unique feet.

Bought these rite before going to Disney World. My go to were a water proof keen and I knew my feet would be swapfoot....these breath great....soft comfy ....great for everyday things but definitely a little too soft n squishy for a real hike or walking through a rocky creek. Overall a great sneak for everyday easy use.

Great shoe! I like max stability shoes for my long runs. I normally use Asics Kayano, but these Wave Horizons were a great deal so took a chance, and they are working out very well. On my 2nd pair! Great support and cushioning. Love the 11 mm heel to toe drop.

Haven’t had a new pair of running shoes in a while. The grey pair is sporty enough but can also be pulled off when trying to look a little less sporty for travel and outdoor events.The shoes felt incredible from day 1. I was worried about the extra fabric around the ankle but it’s not that noticeable and adds some comfort.

This is the second pair of Mizuno Wave Horizon shoes that I have used for training/running. I had over 300 miles on my last pair, so it was time for a replacement. The reason I love these shoes is that they are very stable and there is plenty of cushion in the front portion of the foot. Other shoes left my forefoot bruised feeling after long runs. I have never had that problem with these shoes.
