Great, sturdy Firetruck set!
It is great and my grandson loves it!!! Since the 3 firemen can fit in the cab with doors that open, it’s a great set. The ladder & basket go up high and snap back down easily. The built in water nozzle is perfect (& love that it does not squirt real water!!)

Excellent fire truck toy with sounds and movable ladder
This was an excellent gift for an Angel tree little boy that wants to be a fireman when he grows up,So when I came across of these amazing fire truck, i bought it. The fire truck is a pretty good size around 19" long and 8 1/2" wide, comes with 5 firemen figurines, which is absolutely a plus, but is not all, the tall folding and swiveling ladder moves the firemen up and down, as well as 360 degree turns, so they can fight the fire and be heroes! It has sounds and the hose spray water, I know it was a nice gift and the boy that received it must be happy now playing with this amazing toy. Toddler Fun!
My almost 3 year old grandson loves this fire truck. It comes with little firemen that he enjoys placing in the bucket at the top of the ladder and inside the right hand side of the truck (left side has a permanently fixed driver although that door opens as well). I should note here that the men do not go into the sitting position, but he doesn't seem to mind just opening the door and placing them inside. The ladder makes a clicking sound as you raise it that my grandson likes and the various siren sounds, although can't be volume adjusted, are of a medium sound, not too loud. The truck can go forward and back on its own if you go back and forth on the floor. Something a toddler will have to be taught. I was looking at various fire trucks on Amazon and am so glad I ordered this one as my grandson is getting much enjoyment in placing the little men all over the various ledges, inside the truck and in the bucket. Not sure how long the ladder will last if there is a lot of rough play, but overall I'm happy with the purchase and how fast it arrived.

Cheap for the price but functional
We got this for my bucket truck obsessed 3 year olds birthday. We typically go with well known brands for trucks but bucket trucks apparently aren't super popular and this is what we ended up getting. He loves putting people in the bucket and "fixing power lines" which is what we bought it for and what really matters but it's definitely not as sturdy as I had expected for the price and I don't expect the ladder to last long because of how thin the plastic is. A few other things I've noticed that may impact whether it will work well for your purposes:1. It makes as very loud clicking noise as you raise and lower the ladder. My kids don't mind it but I would have preferred it be quieter.2. Only 2 of the men are able to sit and neither fit properly behind the driver's seat. They only are able to fit into the cab if you put them in at the right angle. My kids just swapped them out for other figures that did fit but if your child wants to use the figures that come with it, they're not a great fit. The doors also only open about 70°.3. The bottom part of the ladder only opens about 70° and it seems to reverse sides halfway up which makes the bucket hang weirdly unless at just the right angle. The pictures show the ladder at max extension so if you're looking to rescue people from windows and climb straight down the ladder, this may not work for you.We don't plan to put batteries into it so we haven't tried any of the light/sound features that others have talked about.
