The lock is sturdy and solid. It's asthetics with my combined hardware choice brought the doors my hubs and I made over the top classy. Only complaint is the paint/powder coating flakes easy.

Holds door closed in room we don't want new puppy to go into.

Needed latch to put on a country style credenza. This one looks great on it, looks like it came with it.

Works great, easy install

Seems to be of good quality, but not what I ordered. The product description dimensions, as depicted (pictured) were specified as metric 70mm wide by 50mm high (standard conversion ~ 2 3/4" wide by 2" high). The item received was larger, and measured to be ~ 3 7/8" wide by 2 3/4" high. Could not be used for a custom dog kennel build using 1 3/4" wide framing.

I installed this on a cabinet. The first 2 screws went in fine but the third and fourth both broke when I was screwing them in. I’ve never seen a screw brake like this.. luckily I had a couple more screws around but they weren’t flat so I had to use them on the bottom to make the swinging lock useable. Be warned you might need some other black flat head screws if you buy this products.

Well made and sturdy latch. We've used it for an unruly cupboard and it does the job well. Screws are fine for wood. A good purchase that I couldn't get locally.

Broke the day after fitting. Very disappointing poor quality

For the price, this latch wasn't bad, but it isn't particularly sturdy or high-quality. It was fairly easy to install, but the screws have to be perfectly straight and flush because otherwise the latch catches on them and it's a hassle to open/close the latch. I used this for an actual barn door and it's nowhere near as sturdy as I'd like, but it would be more fitting on a small hutch or cabinet. All in all, it works but it's not as thick and sturdy as I expected. Shipping and packing was great.

Be aware when choosing different finishes that they are not the same size. Very nice latches though.

I bought this to go on a hinged barn door. I can’t remember if the size was included in the listing. If it was - my bad for not checking.The unit is flimsy, tough to operate and really small - about 3” x 1.5” (guesstimate).It’d be fine for a small cabinet.
