Omix | 19106.01 | Windshield Wiper Switch, 3-wire Motor | OE Reference: 5460089 | Fits 1968-1982 Jeep CJ

The specific point of failure for this part is the threaded section to retain the switch in the dash...very poor or wrong threads size. They like to group this part with Omix-Ada 17234.11 Wiper Switch Nut. I have bought this configuration twice and neither works together. I tried the original nut as well and that does not work either.Like most of the parts from Omix-Ada, this item fails. I have gone through an extensive overhaul of a 1979 CJ7 and I can now say that I will not buy parts from Omix-Ada ever again. It would be a fine line to make the blanket statement that none of their parts fits, require some adjustment, lesser quality than anything you could imagine. These aren't just harsh words, they are worse than words, this is the truth.

Somethings wrong! First click/turn of wiper switch squirts washer fluid !? On CJ's you push the wiper switch in for washer fluid. will probably have to return, had to order wiper motor as I found it wasn't the switch. Motor coming today so will put it all together and see. Restoration project / love my Jeeps!UPDATE: Do not buy unless you want washer fluid squirting every time you turn wipers on!!#?? Was replacing entire windshield Frame and all, can't return now/barely a month so guess this has 30 day warranty. Beware of 3rd party parts and return policy. They should take it back it is defective. I expect more from Omix-Ada I buy lots of their parts for my Jeeps!!!!!!! Oh and yes I checked all related wiring/ terminals exctra.

This is a two-speed switch. The product would only turn once to the right and not very freely. Don't waste your money. Giving it one star because the bezel was in good shape and could be used for the old switch.

BUILT CHEEP AND THE SHAFT IS MISFORMED. I RETURNED THE FIRST ONE AND WHEN THEY SENT THE REPLACEMENT, IT WASN'T ANY BETTER. TOOK APART THE ORIGINAL AND TRIED TO REPAIR IT. IT STILL FEELS BETTER THAN THESE NEW ONES.

When I first opened the box and tested the unit, my initial thoughts were not kind. It had multiple false positions, was not working correctlly (power to the wrong positions), and obviously suffered from poor craftsmanship and QC.However, I opened the unit up and correctly aligned everything. Now it works correctly. Rerating it to three stars, as it is acceptable once I fixed it.

Returned and ordered another one.

shaft of switch was slightly bent and had cut marks from pliers on it.it appears to be a returned and resold item.i will attempt to use it as i do not have time to return it.it did arrive on time.

The switch I received is basically junk. I read some of the other reviews before clicking on it, and they were mixed. I usually have pretty good luck and succes at gettin a good product, first time around. Not the case this time. Switch feels like it has gravel in it and The actuator shaft is loose in the body. Definitely returning. 1 star for quick delivery

A little smaller than I envisioned (no measurements were listed) but otherwise very pleased with the product and shipping time. Performed as advertised.
