Well, I like most of what I got.I had to change the casters for a wood floor; that's on me. Otherwise they are good.I had to order a replacement cylinder. The one it comes with is a bit too high. The seat height is for big AND tall, and not just big. The manufacturer does not provide any options for a heavy duty chair with a lower seat. The posture (tilt) lock is not strong enough for a heavy guy like me. It often slips if I lean a little too forward, especially when my feet are still dangling. The tilt lock can stop that, but there is only one position for that lock. The arms were to tight for my man-spread, so I did not install them. They were wasted on me. The manufacturer, again, does not have an optional seat without arms to save on costs. The padding is decent but nothing to brag about. There are few seats out there with all the adjustments, so the main plus is all the available adjustments. It's a true task chair for cheap, and I expect to find it works well for me once I get my replacement shorter cylinder.[03 August 2021]Had to add, I replaced the casters twice now, because the replacements kept locking up when moving forward. Turns out the slots in this chair are just a touch too loose and allow the casters to slightly shift, just enough to cause the wheels to keep from turning smoothly, which then causes them to lock up in certain directions with any weight on them. It's a real pain of late. I was also never able to replace the cylinder. It's really wedge in. If you plan to replace the cylinder, do it early.

Best CHAIR Yet!
What every BIG and or TALL person wants is to plop down onto a desk chair and feel SECURE knowing it isn't going to GIVE WAY under the sudden load! I should weigh less... but I don't, presently. That's my own cross to bear and another story. The story here is that this chair is totally AMAZING! I, recently, finished off my old HIGH END (read SUPER expensive) leather high back reclining "executive" chair that I owned back when I was VP and made lots of money and then ANNIHILATED a quality HON chair that was used by my employees! When they break or they fail and you FALL to the floor...I'm FINISHED with them. I don't think this will EVER happen to my new OFM 24 hour Task Chair. It is OVER BUILT in every possible way! Construction is OUTSTANDING at all levels.Able to be adjusted infinitely, once it was the way I liked it...it's stayed put and I feel an ELEPHANT couldn't break this chair! Confidence and Comfort is what this chair has given me and I can, NOW, sit (without fidgeting) the entire day. As others have noted it does sit TALL, but it, also, sits WIDE...which is really nice for some of us! I put, some Roller Blade wheels on the chair from The Office Oasis and they worked on our hardwood floors, the old carpeting and even running over objects (wires, etc.) that got in it's way. I've got what I call "Pigmy Legs" (30 inch inseam) and even with my new wheels it can be adjusted so I'm fully flat footed on the floor. Overall, I've got a GREAT chair that works for ME....and I LOVE it!

Overall unhappy with this chair
UPDATE: Changed to one star (See below for further update). Chair is now collecting dust as most of my friends who I tried to give it to will not take it because of its overall uncomfortable nature. I highly suggest finding another chair that has better support and is TRUELY 24 hour task chair.I'll be straightforward as I dont mind: I'm 5'7" and weigh 390 lbs and am big just about everywhere. With that established here are the pros.Pros- Lots of customization, tilt, seat slides outward, back adjustments, etc.- For my height, the chair is just about right. If only it was about an inch lower so my feet would be firmly flat on the ground- Holds 400 poundsCons- Noisy chair. The back will constantly pop when shifting even when tightly secured. Very annoying- If you are shorter like me... I would highly suggest looking elsewhere for a better chair that can be a little lower and allow better circulation- The chair in its default neutral position leans a little forward which isnt the most comfortable.- The back neutral position is also too forward and needs to be adjusted. Even when locked as back as it can lean... it needed another inch or two.- The chair, when seat tilt is set so its in a preferred position, can shift/rock a little and even make a pop sound. I feel like the lock mechanism may give out eventually.- The seat cusion is not the greatest as a bigger person will bottom out on this fast and then it becomes uncomfortably firm. Again going off my build, I need a comfy cushy seat and anything too firm can cause circulation issues what this did. ***Had to buy a seat cushion to put on top of this as it was needed.Indifferent on the arms of the chair. They do work nicely and seem pretty sturdy when there. However, even at their widest, my thighs still did hit them and it got a little annoying. Chair was much better once I took them off.Problems when receiving this chair:- Screws were already in place when I got them. Instructions were not initially clear. So keep your eyes peeled if you dont find them in a baggy.- The piece that holds the back of the chair in place came to me bent. It was unable to be used and I had to come up with another bolt to put in there to remedy this.Overall its just ok as far as comfort. I do feel the quality isnt super top notch and something may bend/give out over time even though it is rated for 400 lbs. For anyone lighter, doesnt have much circulation issues, or have a larger than 'average' back side, may find this chair comfortable.**UPDATE**After using this chair more... I have grown to really dislike it and almost try to avoid sitting on it as it is consistently uncomfortable. Also attempted to give this chair to a friend who is taller and weighs the same. After about an hour of sitting on it he too was experiencing discomfort. The cushion is overall bad and not very supportive for him as well. Figuring this chair sits higher, I would have thought it would have been a better fit. I was clearly wrong.

It is a nice chair.
The positive is i go 300 and destroy stuff this has survived so far. I like the arm adjustments and i like that you can move the center of gravity for the semi reclining function though it does not hold as firmly as i would like tilted back. I think the back should be taller or at least adjust higher and the arm height adjustment seems to go higher [slightly on the right] i must not understand the function of the front pull lever as it seems pretty useless .I feel like reviewing the chair before abusing it for at least 6 months is a bit premature so i give it 5 stars so far and no its not perfect, but it doesn't cost $500 and finding an adjustable ergonomic char with this weight capacity well you don't have many choices and most not at this price.Bottom line i like the chair and use the adjustable arms all the time as the front of my desk is smack in my room and they allow me to turn the chair in a very cramped area. As it is i am pleased with the chair.
