It does the job and lasts well
We've been using this in our office's water filtration system for decades. I can't think of any negatives. It works and lasts well.

Fits my Franke stainless filter holder perfectly. Much less expensive than Franke Triflow brands.

stop searching and buy this one
These are great. fast cheap shipping... $40..... they fit perfect. they work great. (cold water only re: the negative review) after 6 months, i was told to remove filter, wash off the accumulated minerals-junk with water and sponge AND THEN RE-INSERT FILTER for another 6 months (until water slows of course). these last plenty long, with nice tasting water... thanks for a reasonably priced alternative.

Perfect replacement filter
I've bought about a dozen of the OEM filters, and this one looks identical to them. The box says "Doulton Ceramic Water Filter Candle" and is manufactured by Fairey Industrial Ceramics in England which owns the "Styrasyl" trademark I've seen on the other filter boxes. Even the blue installation sheet is identical. It fit my "Little Butler" perfectly. At this price, it was a bargain. Note that delivery could be over a month as it is shipped direct from England.

Not a replacement filter for FRC06
This was listed as a replacement filter for the Franke Little Butler system. I purchased and it doesn’t even come close to fitting. The threaded connectors are completely different. This is not a replacement for FRC06

Great, high quality product
As an engineer, it is easy to tell that this product is manufactured with great care and attention to detail. The taste of the water is much improved as a result of installing this new filter. Make sure to follow the instructions, which include 10 minute run, then let sit for 24 hours, then 10 minute run. In my case, it would have been extremely helpful if the manufacturer included a replacement O-ring for the filter housing however I imagine it is rater variable depending on what brand of housing you have. Mine required a 2" i.d. x 1/8" gauge.
