This is a nice seal to use as a notary. It has a nicer look than just the square seals that so many notaries have. In my opinion it adds a 'flare' to the seal and helps documents appear to be impressed. The self-inking feature andquality is great.

This is just what I needed! I will say, I was confused at first when I saw that the stamping mechanism had a square shoe to it. But after testing it out and seeing that my stamping came out just right over and over again, I quickly got past it. This stamper gets the job done and the seal looks very nice a clean. I’m happy with this!

I concur with 2 other reviews that this stamp does not meet the WA state requirements for Notary stamps. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. I took a chance hoping they were flukes, but the WA requirements for size is minimum 1-5/8 inch diameter, while this stamp measures 1-7/16 inch. Requirements are 8-pt font, and I'm not sure what this stamp font is, but it is smaller than my previous stamp. The expiration date and commission number circle around and run together because they don't fit. According to the WA DOL, vendors are also required by law to request to see your Notary License before providing a stamp, which this vendor did not. I contacted the seller, sent them links to the department of licensing and state laws (same as another reviewer here) and asked for a replacement stamp that meets the requirements. Seller refused, stated their stamps are approved, and said I would need to provide something official stating that my stamp does not meet requirements before they would do anything. Um... is state law (WACs) not official these days? I pointed to the government website again, but no dice. This seller is selling WA Notary stamps knowing that they do not meet required size and is still arguing that they are state approved. Notice that they don't mention a diameter in their information. Hind-sight is 20-20. This stamp won't even make a good paperweight. Even though the seller refused, I appreciate Amazon refunding my money because this stamp is a scam, at least for WA Notaries.
