We were adding an island to kitchen and needed power source. Chose this one for multiple outlets and USB ports. A template is provided and granite installers liked it. Electrically, the actual power cord comes out the bottom of unit off center, and has a 6 ft. thick cord with 3 prong plug. It took a few times of putting tower up and resetting in base for it to work smoothly, but no issues now.
