Best thing is the price! For anyone wanting a handy single no frills scope this will do nicely. Works off 9 to 12 volts batteries and does what it says.

Works well. Display is small but has decent resolution. Basic settings but good enough for audio signals. Recommended.

Lovely little oscilloscope at a very reasonable price. I'm no expert in using oscilloscopes, but I put this together and got it running. It's important to read the instructions in regards to the power supply. It took me a while to get the right power supply. But once sorted, it performs very well for my purposes. There's a custom case available which I've ordered. It's only a single trace, so I'm thinking of buying another so as I can monitor both channels in a stereo system

It is cheap, and awkward to use, and you will have to youtube everything... BUT, I have found it is better then not having a scope at all as the budget is tight... So as the title says, having a bad tool in this case is much better then having nothing.. worth the cash!

This item ships in a padded envelope which is sadly not sufficient to protect the screen from damage. Seems like a neat board, nicely assembled shame about the packaging.

As per the title this is a litle device that allows some basic osciloscope measurements to be taken. It's cheap and small enough to be carried arround when traveling, or just as a 'aditional' floating osciloscope to assit some measurements. The functionality is limited and I assume anyone buying this will have an idea of what is capable of and how to use it. Only drawback is the need of a 9V power supply for operation. I have used it with a 9V battery for short measurements, but really 5V operation would have been much better. Overal a nice little handy device, which I wish I had during my times as a student.

Worked great straight away. Easy to use interface to alter the x and y range and there are my waves. I'm using this for a DIY audio project to see what my circuits are doing - checking logic signals, measuring pulse width, filter rolloff and so on. As other reviewers have pointed out, I'm not sure how accurate it is for putting a precise figure on duty cycle or frequency but for spying on simple circuits - for much less than a professional scope - it's been ideal for me.

Loved that this was so cheap and capable. Real oscilloscopes are many X times more expensive. Obviously this is not as accurate, but I figured it’d be great for educational purposes, and eye candy for synth music creation. Unfortunately for this unit I bought two similar devices, and compared this one with the similarly priced FNIRSI-138 pro. My advice is this one is inferior to the 138-pro, that can be had for almost the same price. The refresh rate is so slow that you can see it struggles to keep up with audio signals at longer time settings, and the casing is far more exposed and less compact than the FNIRSI 138-pro. What’s more, for a few extra £ via eBay you can get the 138pro with a built in battery. Either way, it can be powered by usb (5v), which is far more versatile a power requirement than the 9v input required by the DSO 138. All in all, I have to say you are better going with the FNIRSI 138 pro. It’s 2.5Msps sample rate is worth waiting the extra few days to experience if you want to get it for the same price as this by ordering via eBay instead of Amazon.
