US Cargo Control L Track Tie Down System, Perfect for Use As Anchor Points in Truck Beds or Trailers to Tie Down Your UTV, ATV, Motorcycle, Snowmobile Or Lawnmower, 22 Piece Kit

Bought these to secure loads in my truck bed. Wanted something low profile with removable hooks so they aren't rattling when not in use. Also planned on getting longer tracks for the bed floor with different fixtures to attach tool box or other semi-permanent cargo.These loop hooks seem to work OK when pulled straight or very slight angle. Any side load causes the black part of the hook to slide in the track slot. Given enough angle (especially parallel with the track direction), they can pop out. I suspect they work fine when the track has more than one hole, but the single position tracks might be a problem if used at very high angles or near the load rating. As another review showed, if you can find the hook with the additional paws beside the spring loaded pin, they probably work better in these short tracks...but that's not what's provided. The round re-enforcing plates are just mild steel with sharp edges, so they might rust if in harsh environment. Also requires access to the back side unless you use blind nuts or have sufficient thickness to thread into. The screws provided do appear to be 304 or 316 stainless.The track sections in the second batch that I received had been touched up by hand with gloss black paint where the powder coating was bad or poorly covered. I realize these are a utility device, but for the price it would be nice to at least get good parts. The miter cuts on the ends of the tracks have no de-burring, so there are sharp corners on every one of these.

I used these mounts around my truck bed for a cargo net that I made from bungee cord. They seem to be very sturdy and are quite easy to remove when not needed. It was much less expensive to use these single points versus the larger kits with 4’ sections. And the pack comes with the hardware needed to mount them so no extra cost there. I wasn’t able to use the round back plates because of clearance behind my truck bed rail, but they seem just as sturdy without them. So far I am very pleased, they look very nice and blend well.

These “work” for light loads but are not high quality. I would not trust them with any moderately heavy load. Definitely not a dirt bike like the picture suggests.The bracket is a mediocre casting with some very sharp edges and the powder coating is thin at best. The mounting hardware didn’t come with a locknut or even a lock washer. I threw away the ring/tie-down portion because it was such poor quality and didn’t trust it with any load. I had a bunch of high quality ones from other kits so I just use those.Do yourself a favor and look for some of the other big name brand L brackets, these really aren’t good for much.

I find the US Cargo tie down system to be sturdier than I would have thought. They are simple to use - strong - and look nice. I'm pleased.

These work great. So far they have held up.. I use them in the back of my blazer to hold things down.. very convenient.

Worked perfectly to tie things down on the rack of my Jeep and when not in use the bases are nice and sleek
