Fantastic for Behind a Wall-Mounted TV
I recently wall-mounted a TV and soundbar along with a Roku Premiere Plus and an Asus Router. I needed everything to fit behind the TV above the mantle and didn't want any wires or shelving. This worked perfectly until I actually mounted the TV to the wall and found that the MASSIVE plugs Roku and Asus use on their products were preventing the TV from sitting at the proper angle (thankfully it was a tilting wall mount but these plugs sticking out from the wall a few inches caused the TV to be tilted much too far and I didn't like the idea of them pushing on the back of the TV and the back of the TV pushing on them).I used Hug-A-Plugs for my standard two-prong plugs for the TV and soundbar, but what to do about these little power bricks? Enter these things... They have a SUPER low-profile plug and the 6" extension was plenty long enough for me to get the Roku and Asus bricks away from the back of the TV and situated in such a way that they weren't causing any issues. If you're going for a low-profile wall-mount solution, don't have "inset" boxes (I wish I had done this initially to solve all these issues) and need to plug in things that will stick out too far or that will impact the TV in any way, these are a fantastic solution. They're well made, sturdy and being able to rotate means they can adapt to a variety of situations. For adding a Roku (specifically), you need these because of the GIGANTIC brick Roku uses for their TINY boxes. Makes no sense to me at all, but these are a fantastic solution.

good product
Works well if you need something to fit into a tight, hard to get to place, such as behind a bed.

Perfect for covered outside outlets
"in-use" covers for outdoor outlets are a great idea, except that the plugs you're trying to plug into them are often too large and/or too inflexible to fit inside the cover. Even with the expanding type cover, this can be a huge problem. I tried various short extensions, including those with right angle plugs, but they never seemed to solve the problem. But this clever extension cord did. Pricey, but worth it if you need it!

NOT for outdoor use.
Regardless of what has been written, the package repeatedly states ' for indoor use only'. I need one for outdoor and will hold onto this because it may be useful someday and looks like a good extension cord, but I am not going to risk using it as originally intended.

A very handy cord
When I first heard of a 6-inch extension cord, I laughed. Who could possibly need an extension cord that was only six inches long? The answer turns out to be... almost everyone.I use them on power strips where transformers cover up two outlets. to get those transformers out of the way. With this particular cord, I had another use.The plug sits very flat against the wall and swivels, which is what I needed to plug in lights on a shallow mantel. The cord then swiveled into position to lie flat on the mantel. You can certainly get 6-inch cords for less, but the flatness of this one and the swivel feature may well be worth the extra dollars. It certainly was for me.

Remarkably handy
I use these clever little contraptions on my floor-bound power strips. When I have a component with a large transformer block that won't fit on the power strip, I plug in one of these short three-pronged extensions and lay the transformer block on the floor alongside the power strip. Viola! A simple yet elegant solution to plugging large components into a power strip

Does exactly what it is built for
Simple as can be. I have an outlet behind a couch with almost zero space for a regular power cord to plug in (less than 1 inch of clearance). Since the outlet is only about 6 inches from the edge of my couch, all I need was a very short extension. (I plug a power station into it with 4 AC outlets and 4 USBs).It is very heavy duty, (and I should confirm that it is a grounded extension cord (3 prong) as you expect. I gave it four stars for value, only because I don't know if it is the least expensive for the job, or if any competition that costs less is as heavy duty. Highly recommended, if you don't need much length!
