Works great on Mac if you don't mind Num Lock not working (always enters numbers)
I got this to use with my MacBook Pro. It works great for what I need, but there are a couple cons.I like the keys themselves. They are normal keyboard keys, not "chicklette" style like some other key pads. I'd prefer if the keys had a "click" you could hear/feel, but they feel good nonetheless.A "negative" is that it uses a tiny USB dongle to connect it to the computer. So, it takes up a USB port, which, for me at least, are rather precious. But, I tried a different keypad that was Bluetooth and I couldn't stand the delay it took when it reestablished the connection. So, with this devices using good old RF to connect, there is no perceptible delay. So, I'm happy to give up a USB port for it to act more like a wired device (instant key stroke recognition). The other negative is that the Num Lock key doesn't work on the Mac. I imaging this is because Mac's don't really have "Num Lock" keys in the first place. Even on a full sized Mac/Apple keyboard, the num pad is only capable of entering numbers. The PageUp, etc keys are only available via dedicated keys on the Mac/Apple keyboards. However, I did find that the Num Lock key does work when used while playing games in DOSBox. This is actually one of the main reasons I got this - I'm starting to replay old-school AD&D "gold box" PC games that were developed when all PC's had full sized keyboards and these games pretty much require a num pad in order to play them.

Good quality device, but no storage for tiny USB receiver :(
I travel quite often for work and was looking for a portable 10-key that I could take along with me. This product works as described and responds nicely to touch, and is a must-have when you work all day in a numeric-based system. HOWEVER... I am quite spoiled on the USB-receiver-storage feature that is seen with many peripheral devices today, like Logitech mice/keyboards (where the USB has a little handy-dandy storage spot in the battery compartment.) This 10-key is already driving me crazy because it does not have one, so I will always have to carry it around it its box now and can't just toss it in my bag in fear of losing the USB receiver. I know that the standard response is "why don't you just leave the receiver in the USB slot of the computer," but I switch between 2 laptops and have to pop it out depending on what type of system I am in.Bottom line: the product arrived as it looks in the picture and feels fine, like it is decent quality - it is thick (definitely not flimsy) and lays flat (aka not propped up.) However, the lasck of a storage compartment for the USB receiver is something I overlooked before purchasing this and 2 days in, it already drives me nuts. If you are going to leave this plugged in to a computer at all times and will NOT be taking the USB receiver in and out of the computer, this will be a great peripheral device for you.

Defective Design? Item is not working as expected
I received a defective item but this could be a result of the design of the product itself. The problem I am encountering is the battery doesn't sit in the proper position resulting in a loss of power and inability to communicate with the USB receiver. When this happens I can flip it upside down, reposition the battery, flip it back right side up and it works for a few minutes but gravity eventually takes effect, not to mention you push on the keys causing vibrations that dislodge the battery, and the battery slowly pops out again removing power and making the touchpad useless. I repeat the process over and over and ultimately end up frustrated the touchpad doesn't work as intended. I would like to replace this item and try another but as I purchased this on June 1st 2016, I'm outside the return window.

Perfect, but only one minor problem
Perfect, but only one minor problem. So the keyboard itself feels very good and comfortable to use. Keys are easy to press and seems to be a durable material. The only problem i have... Is that there is no way to turn it OFF! There is no switch or anything to turn it off...I know the keyboard turn off automatically when not in use, but as soon as you press any button it will turn on. And that is the problem, since i use this keyboard outside of my house, meaning i put the keyboard on my bag, and since the keyboard is not standing still on the bag, they keys are pressing and it turn on. So sometimes when i take out the keyboard from my bag to use it, there is no battery left. And it irritates me. Most of the time i take out the battery but sometimes i forget, and when I do forget, I regret it later. Also there is no dock for the mini usb, so be careful not to lose it.

don't waste your money.
It worked once and now it won't work at all. The battery won't stay seated , so when I set it down the battery pops out. I tried inserting some paper to keep the battery in, it lights up for a moment and then doesn't respond to key presses. I've emailed the company about this twice with no response. The one time that it worked, the keys felt like pressing a dry sponge.

Lasted about 7 months with light use
I moved to a smaller keyboard that did not have a numpad so that I could put the numpad on the left side. This seemed to fit the bill for that purpose and does serve the basic function. It is powered by 1 AAA battery and has a wireless USB receiver. It has a decent weight to it but the keys are Very spongy feeling compared to any keyboards I've used in the past. From day 1 the receiver emitted a loud frequency noise that I've experienced from cheap power supplies or receivers in the past but this was manageable. My main gripe was that the battery would ever so slightly disengage in the back I would have to remove the cover and push the battery back in every week or so. I could not comment on battery life as the keypad stopped working before the initial battery was depleted. The numpad was not thrown around or used very often so I think it should have lasted much longer than 7 months.
